In Short
The polished-wood street-level bar is jammed with drinkers--don't be surprised to see someone passing a beer over your head to a parched coworker jammed in a corner. Downstairs is an entirely different scene: There's a fireplace with sofas and comfy chairs set around it, and a bar off to the side. It's so relaxing, visitors usually stick around for two (three, four...) post-work drinks.

Stopped at Rosie's before seeing Jersey Boys. Nice and close to theater. It was empty and we were seated immediately. Menu did not impress. This is an Irish Pub and they do not serve corned beef on the dinner menu. I requested a hamberger, which was not on the menu, for the price of $12.00, a cheeseburger was $15.00 . It was OK, but not great. Tab with coffee, tax and tip $25.00. Too Pricey for a Jersey Girl

Rosie's is a great midtown spot to meet friends or colleagues after work. It's centrally located and has a nice ambiance. I've stayed for dinner a couple of times and had a great meal. Nice people who work there as well.
