A block in either direction you will find better food at a better cost. Not only is this place very expensive for deli quality food, the cashier purposely over charges when you pay. When I brought it to his attention, before he returned my money he actually argued with me without checking his mistake, It was intentional.

My husband suggested grabbing a bite here the other day. They have a large selection of sandwiches, wraps and three kinds of soup. When our $14 Gyro arrived I thought 'they out to be ashamed'. The gyro consisted of one (honestly!) slice of meat between two pieces of thick pita bread with lettuce tomato. Did it taste good? The pita was good, yes. I couldn't taste the meat because it was so thin. Now, I know this is mid-town so I didn't expect the food to be cheap but I did expect to get decent amount of food for that kind of money. The sandwich does come with a cup of tasty soup on the side, but even that doesn't make up for the measly sandwich stuffing. I can go next door to my office in the Village and get a gyro stuffed with more meat than I can eat for $6.00. Locals stay away from this tourist trap.
