I have lived in Manhattan for many years and know most of the fancy flower shops in town. Several years ago I visited Heatrher Floral for the first time. I was stunned by what I had seen; the largest, freshest, most exotic selection of fresh cut fowers and an amazing array of orchid plants. I have never visited another florist since. Last week I needed to send flowers to a business associate in Manhattan so I called my favorite florist from abroad. A day later the recipient phoned to thank me. She raved about the flowers: "Where on Earth did you find this florist?" she asked all excited. "What a fabulous melange! What a an eye for colors! What a combination! I am changing my florist, " She exclaimed. Here you have it Heather Floral. Keep on the Good work. Damore.

Their flower selection is ample appeared to be good quality, though it's on the pricey side compared to my usual Manhattan florist. The arrangements they had sitting around the shop were attractive. (This is not a 'designer floral boutique', however, it's just a standard florist shop). To qualify for delivery, you must buy a bouquet costing at least $65. OK, fine - but then they charge a $10 delivery fee, plus tax, or course. So you can't get a bouquet delivered even a few blocks away for less than $80. I find that pretty outrageous.
Pros: Nice selection, good quality
Cons: Expensive, $10 fee for Manahattan delivery
