SoSo Chic.
I took wifey here one Valentines Day and we had a great time. The rooms where small (check the room is in NY) but the modern chic feel made my lady feel special. If you can pay it's a great place to play.
The breakfast is off the chain.
Love it here!.
We're here every year for a conference and we tend to spend a few extra days in the city so we can play and run amok. This year, we discovered that LPM accepted Starwood points - SCORE! Bye-bye NY Sheraton, we liked you but it's time to try a new neighborhood.
After reading several reviews specifically calling out the fact that you should ask for the new tower, we did just that when we made our reservations. Checking in, we received one of the big bummers of the experience, the hotel key card. The thing is twice as long as a normal credit card and therefore impossible to keep in a wallet - truly, one of those little things like a paper cut that become huge. It was a serious pain in the arse to try to store the darn thing when we weren't in our room. LPM, make the keys a normal size! NOW!
To offset the pissiness that the abnormal key card invoked, once we entered the elevators we discovered that LPM had a sense of humor, showing cartoons in the elevators. Depending on which car you rode in, you could see Charlie Chaplin, Tom & Jerry or classic cartoons such as Droopy.
We rode to the 37th floor chuckling at the antics of Tom & Jerry and upon exiting on our floor were stopped at the sight of the amazing view of Central Park to the left. Just gorgeous. Off to find our room, we were pleasantly surprised that we were on the side of the hotel facing Central Park and thus our room had the same amazing view out a big picture window. Nice.
The room itself is relatively spacious for a New York City hotel room. We brought P90X DVDs with us and were able to both workout comfortably in-room. Also, know that you can rent a fridge for your room if you're so inclined. Since we were there for a week, it was money well-spent. Carnegie deli tastes just as good over several meals in-room!
Overall, very happy with the hotel and we will be returning next year. Good show, Le Parker Meridien.
nice hotel, unfortunately it's a starwood hotel.
This hotel is nicely located and has a good business breakfast, unfortunately Starwood management is a nightmare.
But if you expect not to be overcharged or you expect to accrue frequent flier miles, then just forget it.
Every possible mistake is made through their centralized booking, overcharges don't drop off your account for weeks (even after repeated phone calls), and Starwood has a way of "forgetting" to tell you about mandatory service fees and the fact that you can't transfer credits unless you accumulate 2,500 of them.
There are plenty of other hotels in the area--stay at them instead.
One of a kind!. Chic rooms, sleek lobby and interior, great in-house restaurant choices (Norma's and burger joint), convenient location, excellent and on-point staff. Highly recommend for a flawless stay in NYC.
A large, sleekly modern hotel near Carnegie Hall..
The Scene
The pace is smooth and efficient, the surroundings handsome and elegant and the ambience distinctly French. The hotel adopted some downtown attitude, featuring artwork by controversial Brit Damien Hirst in the three-story atrium lobby. The gargantuan health club and spa, Gravity, with exercise equipment, racquetball and squash courts, lies under the hotel, while the heated swimming pool, jogging track and sundeck offer great views from the rooftop.
The Details
The 730 rooms are attractively decorated with Biedermeier-style furniture set against an oatmeal-cafe au lait palette. Amenities: data ports, high-speed Internet, DVD/CD players and more. Suites have fully equipped kitchens and spectacular views of Central Park. Concierge staff excels at securing entry to the trendiest venues. Guests can also eat great meals on-site. Seppi's boasts a menu of Italian-French fare, while Norma's is popular for indulgent all-day breakfasts. For a fantastic burger, turn left at the concierge desk and head toward the picture of the burger.
A great experiance!.
it;s New York your'e suppsoe to be intimated by staying at a hotel. If you are searching search no furthur! I got a great deal booking through a travel website and got a great room, super clean, well stocked, great bathroom products comfortable bed and order room serivce or go to the burger joint to die for!

Meet George Jetson. Cartoons in the elevators, huge tvs in spinning dividers, long skinny doorless showers, doorbells to each room....modern, fun, clean and awesome location. Pricey, but its new york! Go for a junior suite. Beds are incredibly comfortable, staff friendly and helpful. Will stay again!
Style & Wit with Great Service.
Can't go wrong here. The location is amazing, and the rooms are super compfortable and well designed.
Don't miss the restaurants, Norma's and the burger place (hidden but great).
The staff is helpful and really friendly too.
Excellent hotel. I've stayed here in business. The room was small, but clean and very modern-looking. The service was very good. I would definitely stay here again and consider it among the better hotels among those in which I've stayed.
LeParker Meridien. I have been to Manhattan exactly 3 times in my life. On two occasions, I stayed at the Meridien. Absolutely gorgeous hotel, with a freindly, professional staff. Perfect location, and great values on the web.
