Like being in Europe without having to go there.. The Scene
Owned by Amsterdam Hospitality, whose other hotels can only be summed up by the expression "Euro-chic," this Midtown hotel stays true to its roots. Adjacent to the marble-laden lobby is an inviting breakfast room decked out with bookcases and space-age tables and chairs. The staff is ultra-professional and quick to take care of guests' needs. Whether you want a limo or concert tickets, they've got you covered.

The Details
The guest rooms' hip design includes low-rise beds and track lighting. In addition, they are furnished with CD players, two phone lines, Belgian linens, down comforters and movie service. Are you a night owl? Check out the 24-hour complimentary cappuccino bar.

I loved it!. I recently stayed at the Amsterdam Court hotel while on business. The hotel was under renovation so it's interior was not neat, but the rooms were very clean. They were somewhat small, but that is what you should expect in NY. The one bad thing I had to say about the hotel is that the elevated was HORRIBLE. It was so slow, so be prepared to walk up and down stairs if you do not have the patience to wait. The other elevator was slow and took you to the wrong floors. The staff was nice and the hotel's overall look was appealing. The location was AWESOME, just 2 blocks from Times Square and 3 blocks from 5th Ave.

Very nice hotel. I recently had to spend some time in New York for work. Thus I took this opportunity to do some hotel investigating. The Amsterdam Court caught my eye because of its modern European styling, low price and its location being in Time Square. Plus its about 25 yards from several subway stops. Ive stayed at this hotel twice and both times my rooms were to my likingclean and void of any foul odors. Though the TVs are on the small side they are acceptable. The staff was always pleasant and helpful. However, on one occasion my room didnt have any towels. The court remains on my list of New York accommodations.

For the price, pretty good. The hotel is in a great location. The lobby is less than impressive, but the staff is great. The rooms are TINY! And the 2nd floor was stinky. However, for $120 in NYC, you get what you pay for! Plenty of other places to spend your money. If you're on a budget and don't mind a TINY room, i'd recommend it...Otherwise, you'd be better off to spend a bit more and get a bit more.

Location, Location, Location!. My husband and I booked 3 nights very recently for a reasonable price. We feel like we totally lucked out with Amsterdam Court. The location was amazing - so close to EVERYTHING! The hotel was clean, and very modern...rooms were small - but I would stay there again in a second. My only complaint is that they advertise a 24 hour cappacino machine, but in reality it is unplugged in the morning- the time when most want a coffee... very annoying! But all in all, I was pleased with this little hotel and would recommend to friends and family.

THE BEST!. Im so glad my husband and I decided to give it a try! We booked 3 nights at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The staff was the most helpful- excellent service, very friendly! The room that we had was great- it had a big window in the front and also a side window. I would definitly reccomend asking for a front room. There was plenty of storage space in the room-spacious for a new york city hotel. Very modern and the beds were so nice and comfortable. The breakfast bagels were great and there was nice area to sit in and enjoy it. The location is unbeatable--right in the middle of everything. I will definitly stay here again!
