The Space
A 20-year midtown mainstay, Faina's new location and renovated space boasts six treatment rooms, a steam room, a small nail alcove and a pleasant waiting area where clients indulge in fruit, cookies and bottled water.
The Services
Expertly trained in Russia, Faina (once a practicing MD) and her crew begin all signature facials with a deep-pore cleansing that includes massage, steam and two customized masks. Products include lines like Decleor, Cellex-C, Karen Herzog and Faina's house brand; add-ons include glycolic and vegetable peels, oxygen, paraffin, bio scrubs and extra massage. Best known for her facials, Faina also offers quality body massages and treatments, including a brown sugar and vanilla polish, peppermint sugar scrub, mud and seaweed wraps and microdermabrasion. Also available: Waxing, spa manicures and pedicures (with reflexology). A great deal is one of many spa packages, lasting from two to five-and-a-half hours (several include lunch and take-home goodies).

I frequent this spa and have enjoyed my experience everytime. Normally, I book appointments with short notice, and they have always accomodated me without a problem. The spa employees are very friendly and helpful, also very knowledgeable. I have gotten massages, facials, and body scrubs here, and the service is exemplary. I recommend going during the weekdays in the afternoon when there is less congestion.

I have had several brazilians here with a different person each time. Everyone was very nice and made an unpleasant service extremely bearable. Definitely recommend. The place is small but I like that fact. Feels more private.

I have visited this spa several times, and was very happy with my experience there. They have a variety of facials/services for both men and women. The esthetician always explained step by step what she was doing, was very attentive to my skin. LOVE this place-great service, warm atmosphere and good price!!!!!

Don't blow off an appointment here. These folks expect you to call and cancel 48 hours in advance for multiple treatments; 24 hours in advance for single treatments. Play by the rules or your credit card will be charged the full amount of the service.
