I actually came to have my hair done by Bianca from the New Horizons (who is a genius of her own) located at Federico's Salon, but Federico provided valuable advice on the coloring, styling and did my hair cut, which looks great. He is very kind and professional, yet absolutely hilarious. He has a clear vision of what he thinks suits you best, yet he really listens and cares about what you want to achieve. I felt I was treated as a queen the whole afternoon.

I will not be returning to this establishment. I bought a livingsocial deal for a Keratin Treatment and figured I would try this place out. The stylist convinced me to try the Lasio One Day Treatment which I shelled out an extra 100 dollars for. It did not work at all. After about a week or two I called and told them. The stylist said she would re-do it using the original 4 day treatment. That was about a month ago. My hair is now getting super frizzy again. I've done many keratin treatments before and they have always lasted at least 3-4 months. So basically I wasted time, and money at this place. Never again.

Most of these reviews are very dated. Are there any reviews on this salon that are current..real reviews not the phony ones by friends of stylists and owners, those are very easy to spot.

Hair heaven.
If you think of hair heaven think of Agnes and Federico ...
Agnes just has the talent shes magical... my hair color is stunning !!!!!!!!!!!
and Federico with his angel hands just knows how to make my hair look so amazing .. there isn't enough words to describe his talent and kindness
i love Federico and Agnes
His staff is pretty amazing as well
i highly recommend and i will always go back!
<3 lets say 5 stars is not enough!!! xx

AGNES is the best !!!.
Every-time Agnes does my hair everybody on the street, especially women stop and ask me about my hair !!! Once even some photographer stopped me on the street to take pictures of my hair!!!
Agnes is the best! Not only she is the best hairstylist, but also she is a wonderful person! She is extremely busy, and she works very hard !!! She is the best and she deserves the best !!!
If not Agnes...I would not be back at Federico!

best salon in the city, best customer service!.
I highly recommend this salon!
The salon treat customer very nice and friendly plus the service is truly AMAZING
Massimo is a truly life saver and was able to fix my hair disaster e from a previous visit at another hair salon!
Massimo did magic to my hair color and bought it back to normal. His is a master in his work and always comes out with the most amazing end results.
The team offers you fresh beverage, and magazines.
There are never long waiting times and the atmosphere is totally friendly and calm. I always get compliments about my hair after my visit at this salon!

ILDA IS AN HIGHLY SKILLED & AMAZING STYLIST!!!!. WITH SO MANY SALONS & HAIR STYLIST OUT IN NYC, IT CAN BE VERY OVERWHELMING! I WANTED TO FIND A PERSON THAT WOULD LISTEN TO ME & JUST KNOW WHAT I WANT & DO THERE MAGIC, I LOVE MY HAIRCUTS WITH ILDA & GET SO MANY COMPLIMENTS EVERY TIME I GO TOO HER STILL ! Gone for years and still loving it like it was day one!.
I have gone to Federico salon for years and he has always done an amazing job. I finally decided yesterday to completely change my look, I chopped it all off! I used to have long flowing brown hair and now its an amazing blonde shoulder length cut with blunt bangs! I never thought I could actually look this good. Upon telling Federico what I wanted him to do, he was a little hesitant because he did not want me to be shocked by the complete transformation. He wanted to make sure that I really wanted to go in this direction and I loved that he was so concerned and genuine. Any other stylist would merely do what the client wanted and just get them done, he really cared about how I was going to react. During the whole process I felt right at home everyone took great care of me, ordered me food for lunch, made me espresso, and gave me the best scalp massage ever during my shampoo!
In the end, I think Federico and his staff are amazing and I would recommend his salon to everyone!
Blondes really do have more fun!!

Best Hair Treatment and Amazing Customer Service!. I had the opportunity to completely transform my boring, dried-out brown hair, to an incredible blonde, healthy new look! Federico and his styling team are as talented as they are personable. I felt as if I was with people I had known forever! I'll be blonde forever thanks to Federico!
