Best Salon. I have been going to DeJavous for a little over 2 years. The environmemt is extremely friendly. Everyone who works there is very personable. I have gone during the week and on weekends and it is always very busy. Eli does my cut, color and highlightes. He is very talented. I have been a brunette thru him as well as a blonde and my hair is always very healthy. He listens to exactly what I am asking for. If i say I need a trim- I get a trim. I dont know who cut some of the other girls hair on these reviews and messed it up so bad but I definately never had that problem with Eli. I have sent a bunch of friends there as well and everyone has been very happy.

Best Salon in NYC. WOW! Dejavous is a place to go if you want to get pampered, treated like royalty and leave looking fabulous. Everyone deserves to look good...so what are you waiting for!

Dejavous is a family salon. When you first walk in, you are pleasantly greeted by the brothers, the cousins and sometimes even the mother and father. You instantly feel like you are also part of the family. The staff is friendly, enthusiastic and eager to meet your hairs needs with a "special touch" and smile. It's a place where everyone knows your name and truly cares for your well being and success. "If you look good, you feel good." So why not approach your life, looking your very best?

I would happily recommend this salon to anyone looking for not just a hair cut but, an the opportunity to experience the best looking "you"...

Fabulous!. I'm visiting from Australia and needed a wash and blow dry in a hurry! I was warmly welcomed and despite not having an appointment was seen right away.

My stylist Ricky did a fantastic job, cutting, restyling and blow drying my hair in the best style I've ever had. Stayed in for days too!

Midtown's Best. Love love love coming here! Whenever I am in the area, I make it a point to stop in, pick up some awesome hair products - they have a huge selection - and get a quick blowout! Really makes my day great!

Best Mens Business Hair Cut. I recently started a job in the time warner building and needed a new stylist convenient to work. A freind reccomended Adam at dejavous salon. I still did my research. I came in for a haircut on time as scheduled was serviced. This professional listened and than executed my haircut exactly tapered to what i wanted. Easy to maintain, great style, and got great reccomendations from him. Thank you Adam for taking a great care of me. I have reccomended you to my freinds.

The Best in New York City!!!. The salon is a breath of fresh air. The service is outstanding and unlike any other.... I loved it. You are welcomed as soon as you step in the door. I have been to many stylists in New York City until the day I met Adam about 6 years ago he is so sensitive to his clients needs and has always exceeded my expectations. I always leave looking and feeling amazing, for cut, color, highlights. Adam is so professional always keeping up with the latest techniques to help us look our best. He knows exactly what he is doing and takes pride in it.

The staff in Deja Vous Salon all with amazing engaging personalities and all work with genuine care. Dedication like this is unfortunately rare in New York City but at least there is Deja Vous, thanks guys. I recommend this salon for any of your beauty needs and rate this salon as one of the best in New York City!

Thank you for making me look great. I needed my hair colored and a coworker recommended to go to dejavous hairsalon on 56 st. Thank you Jenn. As soon as I walked in I felt very welcomed. The salon looked clean and warm and inviting. I loved the friendly staff.

Being there for the first time I got the consultation I needed to know they knew what they are going to do with my hair, and it'sjust what I got. They listen to everything i said and wanted, which is hard to do. I love my haircolor and i get compliments everyday from random people wherever I go. After my color service I got a great relaxing very clean, thorough shampoo. The shampoo took me away for a few minutes.

I have been spending a lot of money on my haircuts color before, and at a resonable price I feel like a million bucks. Thank you Dejavous for a great first time experience.

Average. Would not recommend. The other person is right, no consultation. She is also right when you do force it in why you are there they absolutely dont listen to a word you say. This will be proven by getting exactly what you say not to do. If you say ok, I want a bob, no bangs. You will get a crooked bob with super short bangs. So still a bob but you get the point. And if you REALLY didnt want bangs and made a point of that and leave with bangs, you wont feel good about your cut at all. Its one thing to not get the haircut you feel nice about but its another when you are given exactly what you asked them NOT to do. Disappointing. It's an assembly line in there. They dont really care if you ever come back. And dont be fooled by the yeah yeah got it, they are actually not listening to a word you are saying. Arrogant to say the least. The positive reviews are because it's cheap but a cute salon. People that regularly go to the trailer park to have their haircut are wowed they dont have bubba sitting in a corner. A salon for the unattractive woman should be the name of this place. On a last note, I dont care if the staff is friendly or not , all I care about is the cut. But for those of you who this matters to you will be very offended. Once you go to get your hair shampooed some rude, nasty wart hog will make faces at you and then point to the shampoo bowl. She wont say a single word and when she is done she will just point at your stylist followed by rolling her eyes at you. The women that work there will all glare you down like why are you here. I mean the place is a mess people. Lots of products, scissors and color lines but they dont know how to use them, they dont listen and they crap on your hair because they think they are honoring you with a cheap haircut. DejaVous? Yes people, if you had a really bad experience in your lifetime in the past and want to re-live it, go here.

Listen up! If you haven't been to Deja Vous you are missing out. This is the best kept secret in NYC. I was in a hurry and walked by and decided to walk in for a cut and highlights before a night out with the girls. They took me right away. The salon is the perfect mix, trendy, yet classy.

From the second I walked I felt like a goddess and that was even before I got a wash - the guys there are so hot and soooooooooooo straight!!!!!!!!!!!

The highlights, the cut and blow dry were alll great. When they were finished I couldnt believe it, I never looked this hot and no other salon has touched my hair since.

That night I was at STK and I met the cutest Goldman banker and his pickup line was actually a compliment on my hair. That was a year ago and yesterday he proposed to me at STK!!!!
