Never shall I stray again!. Thanks to a dear, wise friend I started going to Dario when I first moved to NY 22 years ago! He always gave me a fantastic cut and color (I'm a redhead and I've been all shades). I am a performer and honestly my hair always got me noticed! I moved out of the neighborhood and, sadly, I stopped going to Dario for many, many years and started going to another salon uptown, or worse, doing it myself. I called Dario about a year ago and not only did he remember me by my voice, but took me right away and proceeded to work his magic with my hair and, like old times, I received tons of compliments! I just got a cut and color yesterday, had a great time with everyone there and I look and feel fabulous. Dario and his terrific staff are in my hair for good!

THIS PLACE IS THE BEST!!!!!!!. I loved this salon they made my hair beautiful and the price isn't even half bad. The employee that i went to is danny and he is amazing i go to him all the time he makes my hair almost everyday and he is the most helpful honest funny and friendly hair stylist i've ever met if you decide to go to dario's salon look for danny because he will put a smile to your face and leave you as beautiful as a queen. i recommend this salon to everyone and i definetly recommend danny!!!

Great Salon. I have been going here since college off and an and I always come back. I stopped for a while and went to Prive in the Soho Grand hotel when I was working downtown. For the money, Dario is a much better option and is up there with more expensive salons. After moving to CO, I went to 5 stylists before I found someone half decent. Now that I'm back in NY, Dario has been my go to for hair..... Can't go wrong here.

Precision Hair cut @ an affordable price. I followed Danielle to Dario's Salon and will follow Danielle wherever he goes. I love his haircuts. I feel like every hair is cut evenly. He takes his time and puts passion into his cuts and makes me feel pretty when I leave. @ $60 for wash, cut, blowdry. YOU CAN'T BEAT IT. The atmosphere is Manhattan chic with neighborhood feel. Danielle is a genuine guy with a great attitude!

Great cut, color and service. I love Dario! He can handle my mop and make it look fabulous. Everyone in the salon is friendly and helpful. It has a real family atmosphere. Everyone should go.

good stuff. i think that the people working there are very genuine and you don't have to feel as though you are walking in to a posh salon where they might come across snobby. the people there are very down to earth, get the job done well and quickly and it was a pleasure. highly recommend.

Wonderful Saon. This is a great salon! They offer the best service in the city for an amazing price! One of the most moderately priced salons in NYC. Dario and his staff are extrememly knowledgeable and will go the extra mile to take care of you. If you are looking for the prefect cut/color but can't afford manhattan prices go here! The money you do spend is well worth it!

Very professional. Dario is a well-run, highly professional salon. The cost is very reasonable for a place with stylists of this high a skill level. It's not particularly shi-shi, but you get plenty of bang for your buck in terms of the finished result. A men's wash and cut costs $35 plus tip. My stylist was particularly attentive to detail as well as constantly asking me how I wanted it done, as opposed to just doing it "his way." The midtown location is a plus.
