Stay Away. Honestly all DR KIM is looking for is your money. I am from out of town and found his practice on the Internet as ' New York's best dentist'.

I had a problem with my wisdom tooth and instead of providing me with the correct medication he recommended for me to have root canal treatment which was completly and utterly unnecessary. He went on to say how removing the tooth would be very expensive and root canal would be advised for now and also explained how this was also 'pricey'. I was in terrible pain and asked a number of times if I had an infection and his response was he could not tell until the root canal procedure was given.

I am not a dentist just a young and vulnerable out of town girl and felt he was incorrect in his diagnosis.

Thankfully I got a second opinion by a wonderful dentist. He had informed me I had a bad infection and did not believe for a second that I was advised to have root canal treatment as one thing has got nothing to do with the other.

He put me on antibiotics which is what I went to DR KIM for but this was not his way in dealing with the problem as he would have not earned any further money from me.

How to Get a Beautiful Smile. People always compliment me on my beautiful smile. I owe it all to Dr. Kim who did wonders with my teeth, which were absolutely horrendous. He is very meticulous and thorough. He also explains every part of the procedure. I had extensive work and it was well worth it. He also gave me a better quote than another dentist. Don't settle for OK - have your teeth look fabulous. It is a life changing experience. I have recommended my friends to Dr. Kim and they have been pleased as well.

Dr. Kim Changed My Life. My teeth were in terrible shape for years. Within a few months, Dr. Kim made me two bridges and now I have a wonderful smile. He cares about his patients and explains each part of a procedure.

People compliment me on my beautiful teeth. I always recommend that they see Dr. Kim.

I like Dr. Kim and so does my wife.. My wife and I were introduced to Dr. Kim over ten years ago by a very discerning friend. -- We like Dr. Kim because he knows the right thing to do in every situation. --

He works hard to to understand his patients dental problems and concerns. - He will call you back if you call him, that is very important. -

Dr. Kim also has a photographic memory which is so important when you are taking care of a lot of teeth and mouths.

Dr. Kim is kind and he has a gentle soul.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED- BEST IN NYC. Dr. Kim is the best dentist I have ever had. I was referred to him by my roommate when I first moved to NYC a few years ago. From that day forward I have been a completely loyal patient. He always has a wonderful attitude and is very thorough with each appointment. I have had a few fillings done by him, and I must say, they were actually enjoyable- no pain at all, he told me funny stories to keep happy and to top it off the fillings are flawless and have not given me any trouble. I couldn't be more satisfied with Dr. Kim as my dentist and I refer him to all of my friends, each of which report back with very positive experiences.

Best dentist in town. Because of dental phobia, I was affraid of dentist for a long time. When I saw Dr Kim,I am so relieved because of the fact that he is so knowlegable about whole area of dentistry. He was kind enough to explain all the detail what he was going to do and what I am expecting during procedure.There was no pain what so ever during surgery . He was so talented that he fix my smile line on the spot. I thank Dr. Kim for fixing my teeth without any pain and explain everything. Now I do not have any fear going Dentist, Dr. Kim.

That office is so clean and state of art facility. I recommended Dr Kim and his office to all of my office staffs.

excellent dentist, affordable, gentle for cowards. Going to the dentist is kind of a scary thing for me so its important that I have a dentist that is sensitive to my needs. This place is gentle, they are always flexible with scheduling, and they are affordable

Nothing but the best!. I'm not sure what 101HUD is talking about, but Dr. Syngbum Kim is beyond fantastic.

Dr. Kim is the best dentist I've ever had. Pleasant, knowledgable, with a great bedside manner and a true concern for his patients' well-being.

Dr. Kim is not only great dentist but a great person too.

The Best Dentist Experience I've had!!!. Having an emergency tooth removal is not fun. But, Dr. Kim's gentle and compassionate approach had taken away years of negative experiences with folks in his profession. I can trully say that my tooth removal was painless. He was also very professional and not a "hard sell" but caring/sincere type when sharing with me the things that I need to have done to secure a better set of teeth as I get older. Overall, I highly recommend Dr. Kim's Dental practices.

Positive Dental Experience. After having several issues with my local dentist (including having to return to have a filling replaced three times and still remaining in discomfort), I decided to seek a second opinion when I was visiting NYC. Dr. Kim's office was very accomodating and fit me in on relatively short notice. In the span of a little more than two hours, he conducted the initial consultation, performed a complicated root canal, put in two temporary crowns, and replaced a filling. After over six weeks of being in discomfort, I am relieved to be pain free. Dr. Kim was very professional and took the time to explain to me what he was doing and what had been causing my pain for the past several weeks which is a welcome change from my past dental experiences. The root canal itself was virtually painless (that is until the numbness wore off). I highly recommend him and will definitely be returning.
