They Steal Your Prescriptions and Money--No Customer Spared – They will steal your controlled substances by skimming anywhere from a few to as many as half of your pills and then vouching for each other to the point that they will actually call you a liar and a drug addict TO YOUR FACE and IN FRONT OF OTHER CUSTOMERS if you dare show up and ask for proof that they really investigated your missing pills.
These evil pharmacists are the only you'll ever find that are hidden upstairs, never seen by any customers, protecting them from being individually accused of the illegal but profitable practices they are all guilty of engaging in. These pharmacists get paid VERY well by the scumbag owners who save a lot of money when those stolen pills add up. up so they can literally call you a liar and drug addict to your face if you dare show up to ask for an investigation
The rest of the store isn't any less guilty of illegal practices, with sales associates as evil as the pharmacists who browbeat you into overpaying for old and expired health and beauty products that often end up on your credit card but do not make it into your shopping bag. Be careful if you are buying more than one or two things, as I have seen them on multiple occasions sell me products I specifically said I did not want to buy. Sometimes the products you get will even be used. The sales associates don't know a thing about the products they force on you but lie to customers about what miracles the products perform, pushing the ones that either fell off the back of a truck or are part of their Zitomer line, the equivalent of a box of crayons they call makeup and charge Chanel prices for. Between the untrained, devious staff, the old, expired and disgusting products, and the intense pressure to spend or get out, you will leave Zitomer a victim of cons, painted up to look like a homeless clown, and advertising your unfortunate stupidity by carrying one of their tasteless pink shopping bags down Madison Ave.
ADVICE: COUNT YOUR PILLS AT THE REGISTER, under one of the ceiling cameras, and while forcing an employee to watch the entire thing and count along with you.
If you purchase anything from them, look at it BEFORE YOU LEAVE to make sure it isn't used or so old it's broken. Also, make sure everything you paid for is in your bag and that nothing was added to your purchase without your consent. Trust me,, they won't be quick to issue you any refunds if you find something wrong and return to the store to fix it. Don't be surprised if they call you a liar for any claims you make about your retail purchase--the colorful names and requests to leave the store aren't just for the patients whose prescriptions they steal.
They'll never give you a refund or admit they stole your pills or merchandise, so you're better off reporting them to the Better Business Bureau or the police than going back thinking they'll do the right thing. You may not see your missing pills or money, but you can still fight back, no matter what they say, until this kind of disgusting, immoral approach to business finally puts them out of business and saves any new victims from walking in their doors,
CRIMINALS RUN THE PHARMACY – Caveat Emptor! This admittedly beautiful store (great cosmetics, apparel, chilldren shop) has the WORST
PHARMACY in NYC. After "losing" a pain script, which they charged me for, and providing them an opportunity to conduct a search, the arrogant baffoon Manager "Phil" "solved" the problem by calling my doctor with the INTENT OF SECURING PRIVATE MEDICAL INFORMATION to use against me to DISCREDIT MY COMPLAINT. My equally briliant doctor gave the info out over the phone!
The Pharmacists here are CROOKS!!! And they have repeatedly violated NYS medical laws. I believe they are also skimming scripts (pill counts always off)
and engaging in narcotics fraud.
Doctors avoid this Pharmacy until they have new management !!
The ultimate for high-end cosmetics addicts--with a candy department that stocks Godiva, not Mars bars. – The Scene
A three-story drugstore-emporium of "necessities" stocked with so many luxurious goods that it could only exist in New York. On the ground floor you'll find sundries, cosmetics, accessories and video/DVD rentals plus electronics. The second floor boasts an excellent collection of lingerie and children's clothes and the third floor is a mini FAO Schwarz.
The best of everything. Cosmetic lines offered include Chanel, Lancome and Clarins. Look for Z New York, Zitomer's house label--the products all have indigenous N.Y. names like Chelsea and Times Square. (Don't miss the Gracie lip gloss--it's some of the best in town). Mason Pearson hairbrushes (of course), a plethora of sparkly hair accessories and wonderful, hard-to-find imported beauty booty like Smith's Rosebud Salve, Violet lip balm from Spain, French toothpaste and Terax Crema conditioner round out the selection.
Good Qulity And Rates Very Good – We bought A Diamond Ring at Zitomer and went to check the quality at our home town Jeweler, Came out very clear white and quality diamond. We got our money's worth in His words.
