Best Creative Italian. Truly, truly, truly worth writing about. I am a very busy professional who lives on the UES. I do not have time to write food reviews but I am going to make an exception only because life is not a one way street. I have eaten at Grace's 50 times or more in the past 15 years and want to give back. They have given me wonderful food, warm friendly service at reasonable prices, made myself, family and friends feel part of the establishment. The chef from what i've heard has been here since year two which is unheard of these days. His food is just outstanding, very creative and most of all always consistently great. The menu changes frequently but not the favorites like the tagliatelle with lobster, the duck confit pizza with fried eggs or the huge veal t-bone with trifolati. The food here goes above and beyond most restaurants and deserves it's acclaim so here it is. Bravo Grace's!

Great Food, Awesome Prices. My wife and I ate at Grace's last Friday night and it never dissappoints. We are always thrilled with the food. i had the grilled eggplant flatbread and then the Veal T-Bone, both were unbelievable! My wife had the Gary's salad and the Cavatelli. They are definetly the best restaurant in the neighborhood! We can't wait to go back!

Very Nice Spot. We ate at Grace's on a busy Saturday night with two other couples who also eat out frequently, as my wife and I do. We decided to all try different things on the menu so it would be interesting. At least we hoped it would be. Well we were not dissapointed. The food was excellent. To mention everything we ate would be lengthy so I wil highlight our favorites. You must try the confit of duck pizza with sunnyside up eggs, arugula, and truffle oil (wow) how great, grilled octopus, fried calamari ( best we ever had ) lamb shank osso bucco (so good) Tagliatelle with lobster was awesome, apple cobbler etc. To much to list but Highly reccomended and reasonably priced for large quality portions. Oh yeah and the herb crusted sole melts in yor mouth. Great wine list, well priced, good service and a pretty brick walled interior.

Rate this. I had not heard much about this restaurant until I happened to be walking by with two friends and just popped in for a bite to eat and a bottle of wine. Glad we did. That night I had a Berkshire pork chop which was out of this world along with my friends chopped salad, mussels, lasagne and butternut squash tortelloni. We knew right away we found a spot. Only problem is its busy and can be loud depending on what time it is. The wine list is primo and reasonably priced as well. Great food and the service is awake as well

Great food!. I use to work at this restaurant when it first opened and back then the food was "OK." I decided to pay a visit tonight after going to the Met Museum and man, has the decor changed and man, has the food gotten MUCH better! lol. Had the grilled swordfish special with Yukon Gold mash and spinach. The fish was SOOOO moist and succulent. Also, tried the Margarita pizza, the chopped salad and crab cake which were all absolutely delicious (especially the chopped salad!). My friend had the fontina/fig/carmelized onion pizza similar to the one when I worked there and still absolutely tasty. It was also great to see that the food expeditor who was there when I was there when Grace's first opened is still there!!!

Home. If you and your family enjoy home cooked Italian meals this is the place for you. My family has been coming here for ten years and we love everything. The lasagne is incredible as are all of the pasta dishes. The meat and fish dishes are fresh and wonderful as well. to note the rib eye is a delight, juicy and flavorful. I cant say enough good things about the friendly owners and waitstaff who make you feel so at home. I guess thats why they have been around for ten years plus. Some say it is expensive but i believe you get so much for your money it becomes a great value. love it

Don't waste your money.. 1. Adequate but overpriced food. 2. Unprofessional bordering on incompetent service. 3. Unbelieveably rude maitre d' 4. Quaint atmosphere, though.

Great Value, Better Food. My wife and I were here on Friday night for dinner and I just wanted to say we had a great time. It was busy but after about 5 minutes we had a table and were ordering our wine. To start we shared the Smoked Salmon Flatbread and Mussels, and they were really good. For dinner I had the Shortribs which were unbelievably tender and she had the Shrimp risotto. We both were getting full but decided to try the cheesecake for dessert and were glad we did. Everything was delicious and when we got our check, I was surprised at how reasonably priced everything was. We will definetly be back and look foward to trying some others dishes. Try it out, I'm sure you will feel the same way.
