My husband and I ordered delivery vie Seamless web from CBG last night. We should have saved our money or spent it more wisely at La Traviata which has never let us down. But we wanted to try something new and we paid the price. The fried calamari was tough and cold (we only live 3 blocks from the restaurant so it did not have far to travel) and soggy. The fusili side dish that came with our 2 chicken entrees was tasteless, it appeared to have red sauce on it but there was no flavor, my husband even poured the spicy marinara dipping sauce from the calamari on his just so it would have some flavor. For the price, we thought the portions of chicken were very small and the wine flavor of the chicken buon gusto was overpowering. Not at all a traditional Marsala sauce as advertised. Mixing it with the bland and tasteless pasta did help. We ordered Tiramisu also and the portion was small, the tiramisu was melted because it had been carelessly packed on top of the hot pasta. Also instead of the traditional cocoa powder on top it had a sickeningly sweet syrupy chocolate-coffee sauce.

Pros: they do deliver

Cons: food is terrible and over priced.

I took my parents here when they visited New York from out of state and it was fantastic. The entrees were delicious, especially the crab ravioli. The menu was thorough and went beyond pasta and pizza. The wine slection was a little lacking, as our first two choices had been sold out. Once you're seated, don't plan up getting up again until you've paid your bill - the space is tight.

Pros: Desserts, Ambience

Cons: Tight seating
