This come-as-you-are, cozy Italian restaurant does brisk business serving focaccia, pastas like penne with pesto and brick-oven pizzas topped with the likes of shrimp, capers and fresh tomato. The large dining room is frequently crowded with groups who have just caught a flick at the movie theater across the street. Sidewalk tables go quickly on warm nights.

This was my first time visiting NYC and along with friends we decided to try this place out. It is a cute little place but the food wasn't anything to be excited over. Way overpriced. But the biggest upset was the service. We waited 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged us and then when we complained to the manager about the waiter he told us to "go ahead and leave him zero tip." The busboy seemed to be more helpful than the waitstaff and management. I wouldn't recommend this place if you want great food and even decent service!

I ate here and it was simply terrible. The atmosphere was decent but when I got the glass of wine I ordered it was terrible! It as barely even drinkable and felt thick and almost syrupy. The salad didn't have any dressing (they set out oil and vinegar on the table for us to dress it ourselves) and was nothing special, it was just a couple lettuce leaves with 3 pieces of tomato and 2 pieces of cold goat chesse...very disappointing. Before the pizza I ordered, I decided to switch up my wine choice and try a different kind and when I got it, it was terrible too! The pizza was ultimate thin crust but not in a good way. I couldn't even pick up a slice because it was so thin and the crust basically crumbled in my hand. The creme brulee for dessert was by far the highlight of my meal. Also, there is a $20 minimum per person which is ridiculous and everything on the menu is extremely overpriced. I would never go there again, it's a waste of money and I don't want to have to try every wine on the list to find a good one.

The pasta here are LOADED with oil and they must use 50% fat beef for the meatballs but they are swimming in fat run off. I've tried the pastas 3 times and all marinara ones are always too oily and salty. I hear this place has good pizza but I have yet to try it. The service here can be very flakey and you'll be rushed out if it's a busy nite.
