Great Neighboorhood Irish Pub!.
Old school Irish pub on the Upper East Side, with all the classic comfort foods. The fish & chips, hot open faced turkey sandwich, triple-decker turkey club, shepherd's pie, and the burger platter
are some of our favorites.
It's the kind of place where the staff learns your name, and know what you like. My wife and I often don’t even need to order our drinks – the waitresses and bartender just bring them when we arrive. All too rare in NYC these days.
Tony, the owner, is a true gentleman - and he consistently hires good staff. Carol (the hostess), Bernie (the bartender) and Finola (a waitress) are some of our favorites.
Finnegan’s Wake is a real gem in the East 70's – don’t miss it!…
