I love this place!. I've used framing places all over the UES for my employer as well as myself and this is my favorite! I've brought in children's artwork as well as posters and high end work. The staff has always been friendly and helpful and provided great advice when I've had something that was difficult to frame (shadow boxes, floating frames, etc.). Foolish, condescending and just a general disaster. If you're trying to frame some nice pieces, look elsewhere. If you're shopping around for frames and don't happen to be carrying around all of the pieces on your mission, look elsewhere. Apparently, this place is so awesome and well-funded that it doesn't need to help you with anything other than piquing your interest in walking right back out the front door.

There's a general rule when a new customer walks into a place -- don't act like helping them is a pain you'd rather not experience, especially when you're a busted frame shop where several alternatives are readily accessible.

I say go somewhere else if you're looking to hook up a new frame or fix up an existing piece or two or three. It's not worth the headache of dealing with the staff here.…
