I have long, fine hair and I don't get trims too often bc I like to keep it long and I'm always afraid of hairstylists cutting too much off. I also wanted to find a place close to where I live and good pricing. So I took a chance w FaceStation and I'm so glad I did! I had Alejandra L. and she is amazing. A great listener, understood exactly how much I wanted cut off my length and did such an amazing job!! I will always go to FaceStation and to Alejandra L for now on!

I've finally found my salon in NYC! I've been to various salons in Manhattan and haven't be totally satisfied with the experience. FaceStation exceed all of my expectations. I found a livingsocial deal online for a half price haircut and color, which is how I found out about this salon. I was able to book my appointment online which was very convenient. Alexandra was my hairstylist. She was absolutely amazing. She was very sweet and and easy to talk to. She listened to my concerns about my current hair color and dry ends. I've been dying my hair soft black for years and wanted to go lighter but didn't know the best way to lighten the color. She added thick chocolate brown highlights that looked so great! The cut was amazing too. Alexandra colored, cut and styled my hair exactly as I wanted! I would definitely recommend FaceStation salon. Ask for Alexandra!

Maki is truly an amazing hairstylist!
I've been going to her for years! Maki is perfectionest from shampoo, massaging my scalp, performing a single process, highlights, hair cuts, and Brazillian Straighting.
Maki has an amazing way of styling my hair to maintain an easier way for every day life. After I wash my hair, I can easily style it myself and it still remain stylish!
I have maintained long hair for years, yet she comes up with a differrent way of styling and doing hair cuts each time!
Maki has a true understanding of colors and hair types. If you are looking for a fabulous hairstylist, Maki is the one to go!

today was my fist time when i went to this salon. i really like everything about it. very clean, very nice people. Alexandra was my stylist. i loved my haircut!!!!!!!!!!! i know that im going to come back there again.

Fabulous Hair Extensions!!. Alexandra gave the me the look I have always wanted. Long, thick, straight hair. During an initial consult with her, she discussed what is involved in taking care of extension, matched my hair texture and color (after dying it) and answered all of my questions very patiently! She is so knowledgable about what she does and my hair looks SO NATURAL. People who don't know that I typically have very fine, lifeless, shoulder-length hair cannot BELIEVE that it is extensions. Micro-links are the way to go. They don't damage your hair (if taken care of properly) as there is no heat, chemicals or glue involved int he application. The hair is soft and acts as if it were your own. You can wash it, dry it (round brush), style it (curling iron, flat iron, curlers, etc.), wear it up or down, etc. It really is AMAZING. Thank you Alexandra for giving me the hair I always wanted!

Alexandra! You're too good. I got my hair highlights and cut from Alexandra and I must say that it was the best color and cut I have experienced in a long time. As the color being suggested to me was different from the current color of my highlights, I was a bit hesitant at first but the outcome was so great that I am going to her for my Round 2 of color and cut. The job done by her was through and perfect and her patience is admirable. Thank you Alexandra.

Great Deal!. I tried Face Station for the first time with a KGB Deal. It is usually a risk when you try a new place and stylist. But, not this time!!! I was lucky to get Alexandra as my sytlist and she did a wonderful job on the single color process, hair cut and blow dry!! I have to attend a wedding next week and I am going back to see Alexandra to syle my hair for the wedding! Thanks Alexandra - see you next week!!

Alexandra is my HERO!!!. Was my first time, and it will NOT be my last... Alexandra is my hero! Went in for a cut and she made my hair look incredible. My hair was all one length down to the mids of my back (boring) and I came out with awesome looking layers and great movement. The place itself is clean and totally professional. Definately don't hesitate to make an appointment with Alexandra..

Andrew is the guy for hair -- and color too. I have been getting my hair cut by Andrew even before I needed color. Then he took over the color, too. Unlike other haircutters, he does not get bored and lose interest after a couple of years. He's willing to listen and let your hair change and grow along with you. I can't tell you how many times I have had my hair complimented over the years. When I see people who say "you haven't changed at all," I know it's because of Andrew that they say it. It's fun and relaxing to come to the salon; it's a great atmosphere. I would recommend Andrew to anyone who wants their hair to look great. He will listen and you will learn.

THE PERFECT EXPERIENCE. Andrew is one of New York City's great natural resources, but expecially for women who are losing their hair due to chemotherapy. He is exactly the right combination of compassionate and sensitive, while still being irrepressibly upbeat and positive. Besides all of this Andrew is a consummately professional hair stylist and is a genius with wigs. He starts by explaining all about the various wigs and their different features, without making all the choices feel overwhelming. He takes the time to get to know you and what you need and desire in a wig and he won't let you leave the salon until you are entirely satisfied. I'm thrilled with my beautiful new wig...it looks like real hair and, if I'm being completely honest, is actually nicer than my real hair was. Andrew, you are a treasure.
