Best hair salon in nyc. This salon is absolutely the best. Not only is the atmosphere lively and comfortable but there service is remarkable. I went last week to get colored and was greeted as soon as I walked in the front door. Not only that, as a walk in I expected to wait awhile but I was taken in a very short period of time although they were packed. Now to the hair part- Julio did my hair, and not only is he the perfect gentlemen - totally talented-and wonderful styling skills. I'm not sure who the owner is but everyone at the salon is delightful and talented. I am definitely coming back. Thank you Dueto!

Awful experience.. I am shocked that this Salon is even a Salon. I had the worst experience ever.

Everyone who works here is from South America and most of the customers that I saw are from 60-80. The two stylist that worked on me and my friend were very inexperienced. They didn't seem to know what they were doing.

I got my hair dyed auburn and my hair turned a range of different colors. I was clearly upset. She then decided to cut my hair dry, which turned out all uneven and she cut way to much off. My friend had highlights done which she didn't like due to the several chunky parts around her head which looked awful. She then saw my hair and decided she didn't want her hair cut, but the stylist insisted and cut a few little bits of her dry hair.

I should of trusted my instincts and left after I saw a 70 year old woman with purple hair leaving, but I thought a place with good reviews meant it was a good salon. I was very wrong.

This place is way over priced and charged us for everything even my friends hair cut which was ridiculous. I can't believe the lack of experience these stylists have. Trust me and never step into this salon.

This was the worst experience of our lives. We put on our hats and cried all the way home after leaving.

Great cut & color!. I got a fabulous hair cut, color and highlights at Dueto Salon. I had colored by hair myself and it was too dark. Sally did a wonderful job cutting my hair and Julio corrected my color and highlights. It looked great. I have gone to the salon for many years. Everyone is always very friendly and professional. I highly recommend them.

Jessica is AMAZING!!!. The salon is in a great neighborshood and looks great inside. I am hispanic with very curly/kinkiy hair and can't go just anywhere to get my hair done. I always only go to a dominican salon since they truely know how to make my hair silky and straight. But i went to one and asked for arich brown color and after 2 visits, one to correct the horrible job done, I had a brassy color that was way too light on top and dark on the bottom half of my hair. So when I went to the salon Jessica was my knight in shinning armor, lol. She KNOWS her color. She explained to me what went wrong and what I needed. And she got the color perfect without me having to look through a book and show her what I wanted. She is young and very nice. She even blew out my hair and it looked great. I recommend this place to everyone. You get what you pay for and you won't be disapointed here!

Amazing Brazilian blowout by Lydia. Last week I got a Brazilian blowout by Lydia and it is by far the best one I have ever gotten. I had gotten it 2 times before at a different salon, and will never go anywhere else again for it. Besides the fact that my husband, who always thinks my hair looks fried, has complimented me daily on how good my hair looks. I have gone from 40 minutes of blow drying and styling (still looking frizzy), to 5 minutes of blow dry, today I didn't even use a brush, and I look like I have straight non frizzy hair. Anyone who is debating getting it, do it, and go to Lydia! I know it sounds silly, but it has truly changed how I feel! Thanks Lydia!!

Brazillian Blow Out & Highlights. I have gone to Dueto Salon several times and in most of my experiences I had a very good experience and was happy with how my hair came out. My stylist recently has been Natasha. She is the nicest stylist and really cares about her customers. I would recomend her.

amazing, immediate color correction. I entered Dueto with brassy yellow hair. I left with a beautiful cool baby blonde. It was the perfect color for my skin tone and masterfully corrected-- Julio, the owner, was methodical in his approach and "started low and went slow."

I am VERY happy with my hair for the first time in a long time. I can't recommend Julio's skill, friendliness and prices enough.

Jessica Really Knows Color. Jessica did my color over the weekend, and I know I'm extremely picky, and always wanting more but she did such a beautiful job. I went in for just a single process but she matched my color perfectly and added some contrast with low lights, nothing dramatic it was just perfect. Next week I'm getting the Keratin Treatment, its the brand brazilian blow out, I knew she was a true professional with the detailed explanation she gave me, I cant wait!

Miranda is a Must!. My entire family and I have been getting our hair styled with Miranda for years, so it comes to no surprise that when she came to Dueto Hair Salon, we all followed her there. I have very curly hair, and Miranda is the only one I trust with cutting it. She also does the most incredible blowouts which leaves your hair feeling silky, smooth, and perfect! Not only are her prices very reasonable, but she is personable, sweet, and cares very much about her clients. I highly recommend getting your hair done with Miranda...You will not be disappointed!

love love love my hair. I have gone everywhere to get my color done. I guess you could say I am never happy, well there is a first time for everything............I saw a woman on the e train and admired her color so I asked her who did it and she told me leonna from dueto Salon.She told me she has been goin there a long time and that she is the most talented stylist she has ever met. Anyway, I called and made an appointment and went into see her. I was still a little apprehensive until I met her and She listened and made some suggestions. I have never been happier with my color in my life. . Well I struck gold! First, Amazing color and then a dynamite haircut .highly recomended.Dont' be afraid take it from me dueto is the place to be!
