If only I could give this place negative stars.

I contacted this clinic because I needed to have a serious procedure done. I didn't yet have an OB GYN in the city, so did a few searches. Called a few places, but ultimately I felt the most comfortable with the people who were able to talk me through the options on the phone. They told me the took my insurance too, although were unsure of the exact coverage, but said the procedure without insurance would cost ~ $575.

Thats where the postive experience ends. On the day of surgery, I had to fill out pages of paperwork with redundant information - super annoying, but fine okay. THEN, the last page consists of questions regarding my confidence and whether I have any issues due to how I see my woman parts; SERIOUSLY?? They are trying to upsell me on plastic surgery when I'm there for a serious procedure??

After the surgery, I am dumped into a waiting room with 6 other women, feeling a bit like an instrument in a factory. 4 hours later, I am out of that place, thinking I am a free woman and don't ever have to look back.

WRONG. 1 month later I receive the bill. For $23,000. That is not a typo - twenty-three thousand dollars. For a procedure they quoted me at $575 dollars, without insurance. My insurance company will cover 70%, but that how does my having insurance increase the price of the procedure by 40X?

I am fighting this. These people practice medical billing fraud, and are forcing me to relive my nightmare experience every time I have to think about and deal with this. Stay far far away. I'm convinced any positive reviews and testimonials that have been posted are fake.

I dont know what these people are talking about, Eastside gynecology is a hell hole, scarred me for life. I wish I had gone ANYWHERE but there. NIGHTMARE!!!!!

I would 100% recommend this office, especially during this hard, hard time. I am EXTREMELY picky about doctors...especially Ob/gyn. I had to visit this office 3 times for an issue, each and every time every staff member was kind and courteous beyond belief. I have never had such a comforting experience. They made me feel as comfortable as possible even as I was going through this horrible time.. 5 stars. Also, almost everyday I had questions regarding my procedure, each and everytime I called the staff was completely informative and nice on the phone, something that seems so rare nowadays. The doctor always was able to get on the phone or promptly call me back as well.

I would highly recomend eastside gynocology. The facilty is soo clean and very well decorated. The staff is amazing and very very compationate

I would highly recommend anyone to go to eastside gynocology......my experience was swell...my first time and they treated me the most generous care.....they were sweet n very concerned with my comfort...so yes ill deffenetly go and advice anyone to go as well

I would highly recommend Eastside gynecology for anyone looking for comfort and privacy through a hard decision. The staff and physicians answered all of my questions and concerns regarding my wife's surgery. This situation which I thought would be a very difficult and stressful went smoothly and the staff treated us with the up most of compassion and care.

Thank You All !!!!! It is not easy to abort your child. You guys helped me soo much with my decision. The nurse who hold my hand and doctor who explained me the whole procedure and the girl in recovery room, thank you ALL, Thank you.

COMPLETE INSURANCE FRAUD. The most terrible place ever. Two years later i am still reeling from their unethical billing practices... they claimed I never made a payment to them, but meanwhile, I have the CLEARED check that they cashed. So much fraud, it makes me absolutely sick to my stomach.

My family is complete, but unexpected things do happen. Like any woman going through this difficult choice, i was a wreck. I must have called to make an apt at least 3 times and cancelled and called again. When i finally did come in i just wanted to see and hear for myself my options and decide why eastside would be the best place for me. Trust me i called everywhere! from dealing with b** recptionist to feeling like the doctor was rushing me to make a choice, eastside never did any of that. I think I must have spent an hour with the counselor at eastside when i finally made my choice, (thank you Des!) she was so helpful, she could tell how upset i was feeling and even showed me around the clinic so i could see where i'd wake up and where my waiting room would be. Even tho its a short procedure it still is very traumatic and i'm grateful for everyone at their office for being patient and understanding.

I would tell my best friend to go here. From my first phone call to make an appointment I knew i was going to the right place. The girl who made my appointment was wonderful and answered all my questions, she did not rush me, even though i took so much of her time. Then i was given my own billing person (thanks Denise) she carefully explained what my insurance covered and was there after when i had questions, she made sure there were no surprises! The wait was a bit long and the waiting room crowded, but once i had the abortion i was made very comfortable and the girls gave me a fuzzie robe and snacks and i was allowed to wait until i felt ready to go. This is a first class place from start to finish! Thanks eastside.
