Horrible Experience.
I had a horrible expereince at Brooklyn;s Finest Pizza Staten Island. If you are going to rip off a name from a pizzeria in Brooklyn, be at least as good if not better. This place is far worse and not the finest at all. They should be called The Dump's Finest Pizza, because thats where their food and staff belong.
I'm a delivery guy for an Aftermarket Auto Parts supplier in PA. I made a delivery to a local car dealer or some parts and figured I would get some quick Italian food for lunch and before I head back to PA. I picked up I phone and did a search on google maps. A couple of different places popped up, but i figured with a name line Brooklyn's Finest, the food would be good. What a huge mistake!! At lunch time (12:35pm) no one was inside the restaurant. That was my first clue. A female and 2 male employees were just hanging outside, one of which was smoking. The girl just leaning against the wall and the other guy was counting a few dollar bills it looked like. Thats clue number 2. They all went in after I went inside... and it did not appear anyone washed their hands. Clue # 3. After looking at the dried out pizzas in the counter (Clue #4) I thought I would be safe ordering a pasta dish. I was wrong. The cook did not wash his hands or use any gloves when preparing my dish. When the girl served it to me, with her thumb in my plate... she puts it down and sucks the sauce off her thumb, she asked if she can get me anything else. I said yes, can you get me the manager. One of the guys from outside I think his name was Joe claimed to be the owner. I asked, you are the owner and you allow your employees to hang outside, smoke, count money, touch all sorts of stuff outside and return to work without wahing hands, they dont use proper sanitary precautions in front of yrou face and you are ok with that? He said You have no idea of how a restaurant works or is managed. You are a low life truck driver what do you know? I said... I may not know how to run a restaurant but i do know what bad food and bad service is and I know Im not paying anything for this sh*t. and I walked out. Joe, the so called owner called me F'ing A-Hole and told me to get the F' out.
Now I see why no one is in a pizzeria at lunch time. The food and service is horrible.
