Disgusting, unacceptable customer service. I wish I could give zero stars. I received a gold ring from Hermes as a gift two years ago, and it broke recently. They told me that they no longer had the part, and there simply was nothing they could do. Basically, they couldn't fix my ring, and if it had been a defect of the ring, it would have broken a month after I received it, so I must have worn it improperly. Finally, they told me that I should come in to the store, and invited me upstairs, with one of their big security guards in the back. Yoshko, a very arrogant lady, told me that she could send it to one of her jeweler friends to fix, but we would have to cover the expense, because I broke the ring clearly. I spoke to Andrew Micci, assistant manager, and he told me the same thing, and was also very unhelpful and arrogant. Basically, if you want to feel that you are spending your money right and that you will be treated well, do not go to this Hermes.

NEW YORK SHOPPING: HERMES. This store is a treausre of interior design. Spatious, pure luxury.

Go and see it just for pleasure of your eyes.

Of course, we know that buying Hermes (Scarves, Birking,...) is representative of elegance and unique attitude: you buy a part of their history!

The ultimate prestige brand holds court at this emporium of equestrian-friendly goods.. The Scene
Enter the Hermes flagship--four floors connected by a spiral staircase--and smell the French leather luxury. Lots of staffers make sure everyone with money to spend is well taken care of, and they're pretty friendly even if they suspect that you can't drop a grand on a pair of shoes.

The Goods
Find accessories to die for on the main floor, like the ultimate status symbol Birkin bags, bangle bracelets printed with classic Hermes scarf patterns, sleek leather notebooks and power-people must-have agendas. You'll find women's shoes and fine jewelry on the second level, top-notch home furnishings on the top floor and men's clothing downstairs. You never knew horse bit accents (a signature image) could look so chic in the city, did you? Expect to spend loads of cash--even the tiniest objects carry astonishing price tags here.
