Will leave you stranded. Our 160 pound dog had major emergency surgery. We called pet taxi to transport him home for us. They arrived on time. We went in to get our dog and it was going to be a few minutes. I called the driver and told him not to leave. We came out with our dog, 25 minutes after the scheduled time, with no pet taxi. I called the driver and he sent my phone call to voice mail. We were left standing on the street, with a very sick dog, in the rain, with no way to get him home. I do not believe someone would do that! I will never try to use pet taxi again and I will tell everyone I know what they did.

pet taxi saved izzy's life. i used pet taxi last week when my lab Izzy collapsed in my apartment and could not get up. i came home from work to find her yelping in pain and panting very heavy. i really did not know what to do as she is 70 lbs and to heavy for me to lift. i called my vet to ask what to do. he told me to call pet taxi. i called them up and explained to the man on the phone what the situation was. he was very helpful and actually knew what my dog was suffering from. he calmed me down as i was a bit crazy and told me he could send over someone in 20 minutes with a stretcher and get izzy to the vet. they were actually here in minutes and the driver Peter was really great and got izzy onto the stretcher in a minute and at my vet in no time. izzy had fallen off the bed and hurt her disc in her back and was in a lot of pain. anyway, she is now better and all i can say is thanks to peter and pet taxi. its good to know that i can call a service to help us in an emergency like that.

The most unprofessional/unsafe transport for your pet!. I was extremely optimistic about Pet Taxi after viewing all of its press and having it directly suggested from my veterinarian. I even gave the driver the benefit of the doubt when I jumped in the van to find my dog's leash wrapped around the seatbelt while my dog sat on the floor tightly bound to the seat. And this was to provide her with a "safe" ride? The driver was efficient enough but by no means safe or comforting as a driver. But what really set me off was when I was charged $10 more than what I had referenced on the website. The driver's response being "That website is four years old!" After calling the "dispatch" today, the guy who answers the phone and swears that he takes ALL calls argued that he DEFINITELY quoted me a price on the phone (which is not true as I would have sought out other means b/c of the over the top pricing!) and he has never in forever (or something just as brilliantly put) had a questioning in his prices. After being exposed to his mocking tone and stubborn inflexibility, it became more of an issue of his customer service than about the $10. I vow never to take his service again and I encourage everyone else to boycott the inflated prices and incompetent spokesperson of this shady business.

The worst pet taxi I've ever ridden on. The driver they sent for my dog and I was not informed with the directions to my destination, and we ended up spending 1 hour and 45 minutes for a ride which could have easily taken just half an hour. They also did not show up for my scheduled return ride, nor did they return my phone call. I ended up going with other pet taxi company which I found to be so much more diligent and caring. It is my sincere advice to you to go with another pet taxi company. This particular company is very unprofessional and also charges at a higher rate than others.

Very Disappointing. I was very disappointed in this service. Very disorganized and unprofessional. Late - and service was below average. Do not rely on this service - use another for your own peace of mind and the safety of your pets.
