The chocolates are flown in twice a week from Paris. The store looks like a fine jewelry store (the prices do, too) with its wares arranged sparsely in glass cases. The chocolate itself is not too sweet--from as low as 50 percent chocolate to 89 percent. (The average over-the-counter chocolate bar has about 30 percent chocolate.)

i love this store. it is a true experience. the chocolates are gorgeous, but they're flavors are also transcendent ... basil, curry, grapefruit ... not your usual chocolate fillings ... and they are cased in the deepest cocoa ... not cloyingly sweet, but rather clean tasting ... pure ... this place is nirvana.

Richart should really be considered as an art gallery instead of a chocolate store. You would want to stare at them and not eat them. They are so beautiful to look at, and an explosive tastes to match. Its too bad that not that many people know the store. Buy it for your special occasions and your wife / girlfriend will fall in love all over again. PROS: Gorgeous presentation CONS: expensive

Walking into Richart Design And Chocolat is like walking into a beautiful art gallery filled with tiny little pieces of chocolate art. The chocolates are gorgeous, delicate pieces illustrated with delightful designs and the chocolate itself is delicious. This is an interesting experience and if you like chocolate you should drop by and try a few.
