Leonidas is famous for their Belgian chocolates. Flown fresh daily from Brussels and packed for your enjoyment. If you rather choose yourself, a wide array of coffee, mocha, butter cream is displayed. Simply the best chocolate in the world. Those are bold words but when in NYC, pay them a visit and get a truffle or two and I bet you will agree. The cognac truffles and champagne truffles were particularly memorable. Pralines and creams are also otherworldly smooth and rich. Leonidas is an absolute must visit in NYC for any chocoholic PROS: nicely lit, clean and the staff helpful CONS:

Up the block from the back of St. Patrick's Cathedral sits Belgian Chocolatiers Leonidas. The truffles are very good and they make a nice selection of interesting chocolates. The liquor infused chocolates are tremendous. The prices are good $28 a pound which is a nice price for quality chocolate. The service is excellent the chocolate is just a drop down from perfection which prevents this shop from getting a 5. PROS: Quality chocolate at a good price CONS: None
