really poor food and dirty kitchen

I have eaten at over 100 Indian restaurants in my life and i have never eaten in a place like this. I was appalled at the food. The rice arrived cold, the curry was like a water paste and tasted extremely bland. The bathroom is in the back and is next to the kitchen. Absolutley filthy! The Mexican chefs where hanging around at the front of the kitchen and looked like they hadn't washed. There was food all over the floor and the state of the place was dirty. My friend ordered fish and he couldnt even eat it as it was full of bones. He sent it back and they still had the ordasity to try and charge us for it. Really really poor food and dirty place. Gordon Ramsey would shut it down in a heart beat. DONT EVEN BOTHER GOING

Poor and rude service

Having eaten there before, I know how busy it can get during weekday lunch hours, so anticipated a wait. After having my order taken by the manager, I waited about 45 minutes and still no food despite asking twice about the status of our order. I even raised my hand up high to get any wait staff's attention. The last straw was when two larger tables were served before us (my party of only 2); even though they were seated about 15 minutes after us. We asked for the check just to settle the sodas we had drank, that took another 3 minutes. I tossed $5 on the table and walked out. NEVER AGAIN AND WILL TELL ANYONE WHO WORKS NEAR THERE, TO GO ELSEWHERE. Complacent management and under staffed is to blame.

Boo-boo, bummer and bummed

As the title goes, it was a mistake to select this restaurant for lunch, then the bitter experience there. Hygiene practices left much to be desired. Food was hot but stale and they even don?t mind insulting you, mind it, it could be visual, verbal and both.

Evaluate the medical insurance and enter at your own risk.

absolutely horrible service

i've been to other Baluchi's locations in the city, but this one has to be the worst one so far. the food is good, and i like their curries, but i've never been so insulted after having a meal. first, the waiter took forever to greet us and take our order. it was lunch time so it was kinda busy, but not busy enough for them to totally ignore us for almost 15 minutes. we were patient and just chalked it up to it being busy. when our orders came, i noticed that the waiter got my order wrong. i told him, and after giving me an attitude and trying to tell me i had ordered the dish he brought out and trying to make it look like i was wrong, he finally agreed to change my order. when he brought my order out he slammed the plate on the table and spilled some of it over the table. still, we didn't say anything. finally, after finishing our meal and never getting a refill on water or having our waiter ask us how everything was, i wrote on the receipt that the service is horrible and the waitstaff was rude. when the manager read this and tried to ask me what was wrong, instead of trying to make us feel better and accomadating us, he just defended his waiter. i told him i would never eat there again and tell everyone i know not to go there. whatever happened to the customer being right? or at least trying not to make the customer feel horrible?

Cheap lunch

The decor was pretty nice and the food was full of flavor. The prices are a bit pricey because entrees don't come with nan or rice, they need to be separately ordered. So they add up. However, if you go between noon to 3pm on the weekdays, everything on the menu during lunch time is 50% off. It's a great deal then.
