Worst service and terrible food

This restaurant is one of the terrible service places in New York. Tonight (11/8/08) we had services from manager and other staff. The food was worst. We had stomach problem after we got to home. Never go to the place to eat. Chinese food cannot be trusted.

• Cons: staff attitude, food & sanitizing conditions

Obnoxious Manager had the audacity to tell us our tip was unacceptable.

I have never written a bad review but this time I have no choice. To begin with, the staff was impatient because we only had appetizers. (As if we owed it to them to order more.) The last straw was that the Owner/manager actually came to our table after we paid the bill to tell us that our tip was not enough (and he was very surly about it, telling us that 'This is New York.'). News flash, genius:

1. Tips are discretionary. And we had already given 15%.

2. We are from New York, so we recognize obnoxious when we see it. We are never coming back.

3. No wonder the place was practically empty in the middle of the dinner rush hour in midtown.

Delicious Food, Wonderful Table Service

I recently came for lunch to Our Place and was delighted with a friendly smile when I walked in the restaurant. I was seated almost immediately and greeted by my server with water and a smile. I ordered from the lunch menu and was greatly surprised at how big the portions were. Overall I was really happy with the quality, quantity, and the service that was given to me!
