good guinness

nice bar,good food and excellent personable staff.i went there several times and had a good time .i came back to book a party and had the mispleasure of seeing the manager in action.the way he spoke to people on the phone,his staff .his expletive language and his general obnoxious demeanor could only mean that he is also the owner because surely no other owner would give this surly ignoramus a job;(i actually met a waitress crying in the bathroom)needless to say the party wasnt booked there .

Horrible service and food!

My family has been going to Clancy's since it opened and it has continued to go downhill. I called to make a reservation for 12 people and the manager was completely rude as if I was wasting his time. I have been there many times before and know that this place is NEVER busy. Once we arrived, his attitude continued and we were served raw meat and horrible food. This place is a dime a dozen and if you are not even going to get good service, I suggest going some place else.

Great private party

We had our daughter's birthday party in the private dining room in back. It was the day of the crane collapse and the street was closed off. Red made sure that the NYPD gave our guests access. My guests said they enjoyed the food (I forgot to eat? LOL). The staff was very accommodating and flexible. The price was right. I would definitely recommend this location for your private party!!!
