In Short – The decor is simple: French posters line the room, leading up to a crescendo of a video wall projecting sporting events. There are 15 televisions and four large-screen projectors with surround-sound for the armchair sportsman. Large windows in front provide a nice view, and there's a separate lounge with a fireplace. The real treat, however, is the rooftop space with overhead fans, frozen drinks and a long granite bar.
Rude Bartender's Need Firing - Rude Staff Too
by porkinz
1) We walked in looking for our party and the person yelled at us and told us we couldn't stand where we were. We tell him what we are looking for and he could care less.
2) A staff member interrupted me while I was on the phone in a stairwell to tell me that he was sick of listening to my conversation and that I should be done and go away.
3) Staff constantly pushing you out of the way without saying excuse me.
4) Absurd bar prices on crappy drinks. When I saw the ridiculous bill, I undertipped and the bartender actually freaked out at me in front of the people that we were there with and would not accept my credit card until I made it more!
DON'T GO HERE!
- Pros: Nice Rooftop, but thats about it.
- Cons: ABSOLUTELY RUDE!!
There are better places on 2nd ave

Most of the honest reviews about this establishment are spot on. My experience: The "holier than thou" bouncers actually denied my friend entrance on a Thursday night because he was not wearing a collared shirt. He was still well dressed (nice jeans, shoes and a nice t-shirt), but that didn't seem to matter, even with a thinned out crowd. With all the other bar options on this stretch of 2nd avenue, this place shouldn't be picky about customer dress code. Especially when those customers are willing to spend money. Their loss, as we took our business to a more comfortable (and I'm sure just as fun) bar just a block away.
The only positive I can say is that on slow, quiet nights the staff working are actually personable and attentive.
- Pros: ok on quiet nights
- Cons: poor staff attitude
Losers R Us
by urbancowgirl27
boring crowd, horrible food, horribly expensive, bouncer (what? what kind of restuarant/bar needs a bouncer? it's just weird.)
the worst part...the drinks taste like rubbing alcohol yet they charge for top shelf liquor.
The service is terrible at best. Guess what waitress... you're a waitress!
...and the Worst Bar in Manhattan award goes to...Sutton Place
- Pros: large bar
- Cons: expensive drinks made with low quality alcohol served rudely
