Tiffinni Saint Ranae and Her Band With Special Guest Contortion Dancer Amazing Amy had a very pleasant time performing at Desmond's Tavern. I wonder if we and Vicfirth5bb were in the same venue! We were there the same night he was! Although Hurricane Irene scared off many patrons and attendance was sparser than usual, we gave it our all and between the stellar musicians, Tiffinni's sensational singing and Amazing Amy's fantastic flexible dancing feats, we captured the attention of every person in the place. Folks got up from burying their noses in their drinks at the bar in the front and came to the back room to enjoy the show.

The facilities were fine, the stage was plenty large enough for the musicians and the dancer to perform, the place was well lit, and I saw no vermin or nasty little uninvited critters anywhere.

Recording artist/actress Tiffinni Saint Ranae and The Band and Special Guest, Amazing Amy, Contortionist Dancer, just rocked out Friday, Aug. 26th, at Desmonds Tavern, NYC on Park Ave. at 10 PM.

Tiffinni Saint Ranae, fan Fave Tiffinni St. Ranae is an extreme Power House! Her credits are far and wide as her knowledge and grasp on the arts are unlimited. As a song writer she developed the skills to balance the right chemistry to leave a listener wanting more after 3min. 48sec. and as a singer, her versatile voice has the magic ability to captivate the audience every time. Thus Tiffinni can draw dozens of people and fill most venues.

Tiffinni actively has airplay on many FM, AM, and college radio stations with songs receiving continuous airplay. She's also performed at numerous weddings, cruise ships, casinos, celebrity events/functions, as well as fashion expos, radio bashes and festivals. Tiffinni has delighted audiences across the United States, Canada, Tokyo and the U.K.

Much more than a singer, songwriter with a lot of sex appeal, Tiffinni is also an up and coming actress who has starred in many independent films and can be seen (as an extra and in cameo roles) in full length motion pictures including Something About Mary, Any Given Sunday, Wild Things and Big Trouble to name a few. Tiffinni has also contributed to several soundtracks/soundtrack libraries.

Tiffinni is currently in New York studios recording new radio singles and composing a musical score for a film contract and working on her 2013 release BIRTHRIGHT.

A versatile songwriter with fan clubs in Australia, The Netherlands, Thailand, etc., with a cover tune repertoire consisting of a great mix of styles: R n B, Soul, Pop top 40, rock, rockabilly, punk, reggae, zydeco, country, jazz, blues, show tunes, cabaret, standards, and more, Tiffinni can thus perform solo and/or with combos of up to 8 musicians and has a song list of over 500 titles! My band played there last night and I've never dealt with such rude people in my life. The beer was over priced and the food was nasty. That prick behind the bar with the glasses was one of the biggest cock suckers I've ever dealt with in my life.

First, we asked him if we could prompt the door open so we could load in equipment and he said "No, we're not paying to air condition the sidewalk." Ok, I totally understand no big deal... Second, he said he wouldn't give us any drink or food deals because he said he'd be "loosing money" by cutting us a break. Then, the a&@hole had the nerve to cut us off after only letting us play for 30 minutes because one instrument was too loud. Instead of asking us to play a little quieter he just straight up cut us off... after we drove 5 hours from Ithaca to play there. He gave us no gas money and couldn't look us in the eye afterwards. Real class act, and a real coward for having the sound guy tell us for him.

When I left I hocked a huge loogie on the stage and told the guy to "Fu&@ off." I don't recommend this bar for any band to play at.. there are plenty of places to play in NYC, avoid this one at all cost.

Oh, and there were mice in the bathrooms as well.

Desmonds is a very nice place to hang. They have awesome lunch specials and just recently added drink specials to their menu. The staff is very friendly and they always make you feel welcomed.

Quirky Bartender that's great on the eyes!

This place has really changed since the first time I went there a couple of years ago. The place has been pretty much upgraded, not quite fancy but much better. The food is acceptable and the employees are friendly.

The one thing that stood out was the hot bartender! And who would have known that he was a wise bartender! He knows his history for sure.... My friends and I went there the other day and they finally have drink specials. Including Cosmos! (3pm to 6pm)

Anyway, if you're going to have a girls night out, start at this place! Or even if you want to enjoy a drink by yourself! And tip him well because soaking up that face, arms, and the booty just made my wine even sweeter!

What more can you say about this place other than it is frequented by racists and anti-semites. If you're looking to find the most unsavory parts of society than find your way to this bar.
