Worst experience... EVER – Let me tell you about my first and only experience here... I went to the Bunker with a group of friends and a promoter. I had never met the promoter but everyone else had. When we got to the door all of my friends got in except me and one of my friends. The doorman pushed me back and placed the rope in front of me. I figured there was some sort of confusion... While standing behind the rope I said in a flirty way "you know you want to let me in" (has worked in the past... but this time BIG mistake!). The doorman, without the respect of even looking at me, replied "umm no." Then one of the bouncers said "do you see the type of people we have to deal with". He then proceeded to say "yeah... classy..." in a sarcastic and condescending tone, followed by laughter, referring to me and my friend. Questioning a southern woman's classiness... yeah he went there! We tried to explain that we were with a promoter and 6 of our friends that had just gone in. The doorman said we weren't getting in and should leave. I was shocked at the way they treated my friend and I. It was horrifying and embarrassing. I understand it is a business and not everyone can get in, but there was no reason to be that rude. By this review you would think I was a size 6 hooker wearing rags and had a third eye ball. We stood there for a minute while watching many unattractive girls get past the rope. They looked like mal-nourished heroin addicts. I very quickly realized it's about who you know not how you look at this particular establishment. I have only been living in the city for 4 months so maybe that's why I haven't experienced douchey doormen to this extreme. I handle PR and manage events and after parties for major clients in the fashion and lifestyle industry. If I see those bouncers at any of my events, I will return the treatment. I will not be doing business with the Bunker in the future. It was that bad that I am writing my first review! Let me give you some advice... If you don't get in with the rest of your friends just leave immediately. For one, your friends won't have cell service that far underground, and two, you do not want to get verbally abused by bouncers. This place is not worth the drama. There are better places to go in the city. The door is strict and "at the doorman's discretion", if he says no... there is no negotiating. Don't waste your time here.
