TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE
by Anthony Mareno at Citysearch
Do not come here! They ruined a very expensive piece of merchandise and never apologized or took any responsibility. The owner refused to return my calls despite leaving repeated messages. It says a lot about a company when they make a mistake but then offer no apology or take any accountability for it. Go somewhere else!!!!
Meurice is the best!
by susan18 at Citysearch
I've been using Meurice for 10 years now and they have always done a perfect job. They are the only place I would take a silk ball gown or an expensive pair of crepe pants. Even so, I was very surprised that they could revive a white silk blouse that I had sweated into while dancing. There were lots of stains and the cuffs were grimy. I considered just throwing it away, but the blouse was expensive and it was one of my favorites. I was looking for a miracle, so I took it to Meurice.
I particularly like how the clerk at Meurice examines the stains to ascertain what they will be working with,- they take stains very seriously! I was very surprised when the blouse came back looking like new. It looks like it has never been worn!
Yes, Meurice is expensive. If you have a cheap wool coat to be cleaned at the end of the season, then take it to a cheap cleaner. But for your clothes that are beautiful and expensive,- clothes that you have invested time and money in shopping for,- then take them to Meurice.
A Cleaner that Goes Above and Beyond!

I am a long time customer of Meruice, and in that period of time I have only good things to say about them. I came in with jackets, dress pants, ties, shirts, my wife even had he wedding dress cleaned here, and through all this I have not one complaint. I became a customer after being recommend to them from a friend, and continued to stay with them after years of great results.
Excellent Service!!!

I came to Meurice after getting numerous recommendations from friends that Meurice does a great job on cleaning expensive garments. So I decided to see for myself, and I'm happy to say that my friends were certainly right. Meurice handled all my garments with extreme care and they all came back flawlessly. I would recommended Meurice to anyone who has valuable clothing that needs cleaning.
BEWARE! THEY BURNED MY HUSBAND'S FAVORITE SHIRT!!!
by kasper2011 at Citysearch
BEWARE! They ruined my husband's favorite shirt, color light, faded purple. He stained it with coffee, so I found 'professionals' who would fix it. I paid $35 and change to dry clean it, I usually pay $8/shirt, but this one was special and expensive $300, I wanted to make sure the stains were completely gone. However, when I got the shirt back, it was folded, so I did not even see if the stains were gone, but the shirt's collar was covered in black polka dots in random places, which looked as if the material was very hard pressed, melted, burned (it was pressed so hard that the collar was as thin as a piece of paper!!!). It looked awful and literally burned. They picked the shirt up from me to take a look, and for 2 days nobody called me back. I called myself and was speaking to a manager Levy through a receptionist. He said it looked to him like a pattern and was probably part of the original design. I explained it was not a pattern and not part of the design, it looked burned. I bought the exact same shirt for my father in M size, and it is not even a question, the burned dots is not the design on this shirt. I spent over $35 to dry clean it, because it was our favorite, and they completely ruined it. I just cannot believe it. Today I was told that the owner will call me tomorrow. I want to hear what he has to say. But if you care about your things, do not use this company, because as others mentioned here as well, they press shirts the wrong way. I am very upset.
