Best Spa in NYC!. I love Metamorphosis Day Spa! I have been going there for years. While I live in LA now, I travel to NYC for work. I must say that the only thing that motivates me to go to New York is this spa! It is my weekly ritual, what I look forward to at the end of each week! I get an endermologie treatment by Kira, who happens to be an expert at it. She knows exactly how to use the machine. Not only does this work on cellulite, but it also takes away all the fatigue from my legs, and I look and feel slimmer, too! Then I get a massage by Amy. She is the greatest masseuse! I literally fall asleep on the table! I recently had a "Golden Glow"

facial by Kira, and let me tell you - I glowed for a week! This facial involved cleansing, steam, extractions, exfoliating, a mask, and creams galore! Kira is also an expert at facials because even with the extractions, I had absolutely no redness or marks on my face. My skin looked flawless! I plan to have another one prior to my return to LA. Unfortunately, I have yet to find a spa in LA that measures up to Metamorphosis! I wish they would open one in Los Angeles! On a scale from 1-10, they are a 10 in all categories - the ambiance of the spa, the expertise of their aestheticians, the beauty products they use, the services offered, and their professional and organized front desk staff, who are just so nice and make you feel so welcomed.

waxing wt metamorphosis day spa. excellent service and experienced staff. I made an appointment for brow and lip wax and was not disappointed at all. I felt pleased at the after treatment done by vera who was attentive all the way. That was the best lip and brow wax I have ever had and hence my reason for giving this review.

The BEST massage I've ever had. I recently started getting into the whole massage and spa thing. I've been to about 4 different spas and a couple of Chiropractor offices to get massages. By far, the therapist at Metamorphosis spa has the best massage therapist. I go for their 80 minute session with Liz, Andrea, and I will definitely go back for more.

Be careful to get what you ask for. I normally have had nice experiences with Metamorphosis Day Spa but not today. I saw that they had their 90-minute Metamorphosis Organic Signature Facial on sale for $125 ($210) and I called up to see if they had a slot tonight, which they did. However, I was only given a 60-minute Organic Facial ($150). I normally have had the Metamorphosis SIgnature Facial but wanted to try the organic version.

I complained at the end about not getting what I wanted; which they chalked up to a "miscommunication" (which seems suspicious to me since I even asked Marcy what the difference was in the two signature facials at the start (she didn't give me an answer...should've known then) and I think it was more to do with being given an appt at the end of the day). Marcy also made it seem like no big deal that it was a different facial when I said I had expected the signature facial.

The owner came out to calm me down and offered me a gift certificate to apologise. I didn't look at the gift certificate until I was on the subway home. They gave me a gift certificate for the cheaper regular organic facial, not the one I had originally asked for and expected to receive tonight and thus have another chance to try it. Sorry, that's cheap and I feel cheated again.

As I said, I've usually had decent service here, but after tonight, I won't be going back nor will I recommend it anymore. This was my first time to ever take advantage of one of their advertised specials so maybe that has something to do with it. I don't understand how twice I thought I was getting the Organic Signature Facial and I end up with only the basic organic facial. Fool me twice...no thanks. Goodbye Metamorphosis.

Another satisfied customer. Work has been unusually stressful lately and my upper body felt tense. Decided to go for a deep tissue massage and I described this to the therapist. By the end of the massage, I could barely remember where my body originally hurt. The entire experience was very relaxing and I now understand why this spa has all the positive reviews. I see myself making this a regular part of my schedule.

Deep Cleansing Facial At Metamorphosis Spa. I absolutely loved my facial at Metamorphosis. Marcy, the esthetician, was gentle yet she got the work done. Everyone was extremely friendly and the facility was very clean. I booked another appointment that same day. I definitely found my permanent spa now.

Best Massage. Hello everyone, on Friday, Sept. 16, 2011 I went to Metamorphosis Day Spa. It was my first visit. I found the location doing a research on the internet. I then mentioned the place to some friends and they were familiar with this place. They told me to definitely try it and that I would like it.

Well let me tell you. My friends were correct. It turned out to be a wonderful and exhilarating day. When I got there, I came off the elevator and was directly in the Salon. It had great ambiance and music. I had a my eyebrows done, reflexology performed on my feet, and for the pie-de-resistance I had a hot stone massage.

I first one i got to meet was Kira, who did my eyebrows and performed the reflexology. Let me tell you Kira has one of the softest touches. It felt like she was barely touching me. It was wonderful. Then I was introduced to Andrea, the massage therapist.. She gave me my massage. The hot stones were fantastic. (I recommend it for everyone!) Andrea touch was so soft, I could barely move afterward. I felt as if I wanted to float away. Great Job Andrea and KIra.

The place is small and intimate, but if you want great customer service and attention, then Metamorphosis is the place to go!!

Massage at its best! Seriously!. I have been getting massage for 15 years now. And the one thing every place has in common is they think they are the best. And that seems such a simple view because everyone is different and likes different kinds of massage. My wife and I could not be more different. She wants a nice relaxing, other worldly, massage with that gift of touch. I want my butt kicked, deep tissue stuff. Incredibly, we both love metamorphosis spa because we can each get the type of massage we want and both leave very satisfied with the overall experience there. Bottom line, if you are looking for a place that can deliver the type of massage you request and can do every time this is your place.
