Editorial Review for Mario Badescu – by Sandra Ramani
In Short
The spa's one hour and 15 minute facials start with an in-depth skin analysis, then incorporates custom choices from Badescu's large product line, as well as hand and neck massages. While it's these facials that have celebs like Liv Tyler, Naomi Campbell and Martha Stewart gushing (and pictures around the spa capture all the famous mugs that have experienced the treatment), there's also a number of exfoliating body polishes and full-body and reflexology massage.

Was very much looking forward to getting a facial there....entirely disappointed....should save others the trip....from the get-go....service was off and distracted and rather rude...the facialist kept on scratching my face and when I told her to be careful...she continued on....didn't listen to me at all...felt like they were doing me a favor by having me there...left mid-way through....very old decor, felt dusty/out-of-date....your neighborhood corner spa would do a better job...

I felt that the service was wonderful, my facial was amazing but they need to upgrade the space, a little old and dingy, and they need to remind other guest to stay off their cell phone, even if they are friends of the owners.
Pros: explains what was going on and what products being used and why
Cons: too much chatter at the front desk and orthodox client are so rude
