Exquisite service at Nina's European Day Spa! – I bought a microdermabrasion facial package recently and went to Nina's to use the package... My facialist was Nadya, and I have to say that this was the best service I have received... and I get facials at various spas around Manhattan. Nadya explained to me what she was doing at every step without inundating me with too much information. Instead, my session was informative but also peaceful. She was so knowledgeable and gentle with my skin. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for top notch service!
Brazilian wax - GREAT EXPERINCE with BELLA – Bella is AMAZING. It is my second time going to Nina's European Day Spa and Laser Center and the are just GREAT. I love the place, LOVE the people they are very friendly and always ready to service you at your best, and ABSOLUTELY LOVE LOVE LOVE the service. Would i go back? YES. Highly Recomanded !!!!
Great experience for me – The first time I went to the spa I had purchased a spasally package for a European facial and I was delighted. Nataly was amazing. She left my skin looking so great I immediately went home and recommended the place to all my friends.
The staff was extremely friendly. The facility is nicely decorated and clean. The towels and robes are also nice and clean, I am always a bit picky about these things.
When I published a comment on facebook, I was chosen as customer of the week and received a free facial. My second visit was also great. I see such an improvement in my skin, I purchased an additional facial so I will be returning soon . Hopefully I will get to go at least once a month.

My experience at Nina’s European Spa today was not entirely pleasurable. This spa was on a list of “reputable” establishments recommended by the Spa Wish website, therefore I was not expecting anything negative, however the shadiness of how they do business should have been apparent long before I walked in the door. My friend and I planned this day at the spa a week in advance, upon making the appointment she was advised that we both should fill out an online coupon to bring with us to get 50% off our services. So I filled it out right way, and after a few hours I received a call from them thanking me for filling out the coupon online and was then asked if I would like to make an appointment. I found this peculiar and told them I should already have an appointment, actually both my friend and I should have an appointment – they confirmed our appointments at that time, so I thought it was all good. One week later we arrive for our appointment and again there is confusion as to what services we were scheduled for. My friend waited 50-minutes to be called for one of her 2-scheduled services and when she asked what was taking so long, their reply was that they had many appointments and they were sorry for the wait. She ended up having to cancel one of the services because they were taking much too long…although they tried to offer her a free service and a discounted service in order to make it up to her. She accepted it but for another day.
I was scheduled for a LipoMassage (LPG), which is described as a breakthrough technology in treatment of stubborn cellulite; the cost was $135. I chose this treatment mainly out of curiousity, wanting to see how this type of massage could replace Liposuction as it claims to. Once I was in the room with the technician, all that was explained to me was how ineffective one of these treatments was, and how important it was to purchase a series of 7- for $685 or 14-for $995, in order to see real results. I then asked her what was the purpose of offering single treatments, if a single treatment was not effective, to which I was told a single treatment was only to see what an individual’s tolerance was to the intensity of the machine – this didn’t make much sense, but whatever. In addition, without prior notice I was told I would be given a “suit”, that was required for this treatment, as they could not perform the treatment on bare skin. The cost of this suit was $35, which the technician advised would be subject to the 50% coupon as well as the treatment. When I was ready to pay for my services, I told them that I was not interested in the series if treatments, then I was promptly informed that the suit was actually not subject to 50% off coupon…it only applied to the LipoMassage treatment – imagine my disappointment. It was one thing after another with these people.
Buyers Beware!!! These people are sneaky and will try to trick their customers. One of the discounted services they tried to offer my friend to make up for making her wait so long was the LipoMassage, and up to now nobody has mentioned that a special suit must be worn for this treatment, an additional $35.
Thankfully my experience was not all bad, Julie gave me a fantastic spa pedicure and manicure. Unfortunately though I will not be returning to this spa…it was far from the relaxing day at the spa I was looking forward to.
The ultimate getaway for relaxation and rejuvenation! – My boyfriend got me a gift certificate for Nina's for my birthday. It was the best four hours of my life! I've never been to a spa or pampered for that matter. The staff was so attentive and concerned with my comfort. First I had a massage and reflexology treatment with Mona. It was as if she wrung all the pain and tension out of my body and replaced it with pure joy! She has the hands of an angel. Then came my facial with Bella. She's incredible. She gave me a wonderful shoulder and chest massage and left my face glowing! Then they did my nails. They were so easy to talk to and so much fun. I will definitely be coming here on a regular basis! Men listen up a gift certificate to this spa is the perfect gift to give any woman in your life. She will be forever grateful!
My face has never looked better! – I have been coming here for about a year now. Nataly is the only one I let touch my face. She is a great aesthetician, the only one who has been able to balance out my skin. I bearly breakout anymore! I'm so happy I found her she such a sweetheart. I use the Dermalogica products she recommended religiously and visit her monthly. I cant believe how good my skin looks and feels. If you have issues with your skin I highly recommend Nataly she'll take good care of you and ease your anxieties about your face. I look forward to seeing her every month, I love this place and often buy gift certificates for my friends and family. You can't go wrong with a spa gift from Nina's!
Best B-DAY ever!!!!! – I live in Baltimore and i do alot business in new york and one of my costumers gave me facial gift at Nina's. It was my b-day and i forgot to schedule an appointment so i decide to walk in and see if they will be able to take me. I was lucky one and they take me right away. Place looked little different from any other spas i went to. Girl who did my facial was Russian( don't remember name) and she did a great job on my skin. I have very sensitive skin and after any extraction its get very red. But her hands was amazing she was able to clean it nicely and not having me look like tomato LOL . After my facial i was waiting for my coat and very nice lady started talking to me about my experience(as i found out later it was owner Nina) and when i told her that it was my b-day present and today was my b-day she gave me $20 gift certificate!! WOW its just made my day! Receiving a gift from spa.. never had it before!!! I had a great b-day and this spa is just AMAZING!!!!!
ALERT -- Serious laser hair removal red flags! – I came to this spa a couple of months ago for a laser hair removal consultation because I was considering purchasing a KGB deal. I was supposedly introduced to Nina herself, who first made me watch a brief video of what was clearly an advertisement for laser hair removal (not educational, as she claimed it was supposed to be). She then came into the room, and when I asked her what kind of certification she had to perform the procedure, she told me that the technician (whom I was told I couldn't meet until I came in for the procedure) had certification (not specifying what kind). When I asked her to tell me what specific certification she had, Nina seemed offended, and said the technician had been doing this for 8 years, so she knew what she was doing. When I asked her whether they've had issues with burns from the procedure before, Nina became very exasperated, saying that customers who pay full price never ask any questions (this was only my third question), and that it was always customers coming in with coupons who did not trust her business because they could not believe that such a high-end spa would offer such amazing deals. When I pressed her to answer my question about previous issues with burns (or to at least give me references of laser hair removal customers who have had good results), she became clearly annoyed with me, saying again that she could not believe I was asking so many questions. At this point, I ended the appointment. Frankly, I was doing my homework (as any responsible, educated consumer should do!), and Nina's haughty, evasive behavior raises some serious red flags for me. Needless to say, I did not return to Nina's questionable spa. Laser hair removal customers beware!
Wonderful staff and relaxing atmosphere! – After a coworker raved about this spa I decided to check it out. I grabbed a friend and went to their shopping recovery party for a free wax. What an inviting staff so acomodating! We made our way to the waiting area where we loaded up on sugar yum! There was a large table full of goodies and we infinitely indulged ourselves lol. After getting our eyebrows waxed by Bella who did an incredible job we were offered a pumpkin mini facial! I never had pumpkin anything put on my face but they talked me into it. Telling me the enzymes in pumpkin are really great for your skin. Well it was the best facial experience ever I almost fell asleep! Its been two days and my face is still so glowy I can't wait to go back. I can see why this spa has such loyal clientel. We are now hooked on Nina's! You gotta try them.

REALLY BAD EXPERIENCE AND NOT RECOMMENDED – I'm still in shock of why I came to this place (no more spa week for me), and waited so long to be taken care of. I had my appointment scheduled at 3pm to get a facial and they didn't take care of me until 3:45pm!!!!! They kept coming to tell me that the lady will be ready for me soon but that "soon" wasn't really soon. When finally I was going to relax and get my facial done, Gloria, started talking about how bad my skin was and how I needed to buy products and come to get facilas very often. What???? She didn't even looked at my skin and she is telling to buy this and that.... seriously, that was the last thing I wanted to hear after I waited 45min!!!! I just listened and pray that at least she'd do a good job. I was wrong! She didn't. She just put a mask on my skin and in less than 30min I was out. I didn't even want to complain. Just get out of there and never ever come back. I learned my lesson, no more spa week for me and cheap deals. It's NOT worth it! PLUS the place was dirty, and it seemed they do NOT clean!
