Borja Color Studio is Awesome!. There is no trip to New York for me without a visit to Borja Color Studio. This Spring Break was no exception. I came back looking younger, with a cute haircut and GORGEOUS color. Love the highlights Borja suggested. Thank you Borja. I'll be back again soon. Love it!!

Stunning color, fantastic service. I discovered Borja Color Studio after getting disasterous color from another hairdresser. I found them in New York Mag's "Best of" listings. Danke fixed my color FLAWLESSLY on that first visit (a labor-intensive project for her that she made a pleasure for me--wine, cheese, lovely low-key atmosphere) and I've been going back for 7 years. The color is always PERFECT, it looks totally natural whether I'm getting one process to cover the gray or two processes to add some highlights, and they ALWAYS accomodate my schedule for appointments, whether I need "the works" before a big event or an emergency cover-my-roots fix when I can steal away from the office, they make room for me in their busy day. I could not ask for better service, better prices, or a more satisfying experience year after year. And I have seen many of the same faces there with me year after year--there is no better recommendation than a loyal clientele and these ladies have earned that in spades.

THE BEST!!!!. I am so glad to be back at Borja Color Studio. Being away for over a year, it was a real treat to finally have my color and highlights done by Danka and haircut by Borja. Nobody could do the color better!!!! I also love my haircut, it is very easy to manage. It is also a pleasure to be welcome with a big smile from staff. Thank you again, your are THE BEST!!!!!

Gem Salon in Midtown.
I love this salon!!! For being such a fancy upscale salon they ALWAYS make you feel so welcome from the minute you walk in the door!
The owner, Borja and her sister Danka are really true artists - blow dry, color, highlights...you name it - they're the best!!
I've sent multiple friends to Borja Color Studio - brides, bloggers, and models and they have all been 100% happy with the results.....not to mention while your getting pampered they serve you a nice glass of wine :)
If your looking for a wonderful salon experience and brilliant results? Look no further - Borja Color Studio is the place to go!

Color at Borja.
Many NY hair salons are all about the 'show off' not quality of service. At Borja, they are courteous and unpretentious, yet classy. It is a most professional hair salon.
The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed and they don't make me feel that I need to impress them when I walk in. On the contrary, they try very hard to impress me by making sure they do a great job. I have been going there for hair color for a decade. Danka is an artist with a keen eye for the right color shade and the head massage I get when the assistant washes my hair, toppled with a glass of the best Chardonnay anyone serves on 57th street, complete a perfect experience in one of the best hair salons in the city.

most prfessional. Went to Borja Color Studio on sveral occasions and was more than satisfied each time. Borja advised me against having my increasingly white/gray hair colored or dyed. She insisted that my color was avery natural and flattering color and should be left alone. She did give me an EXCELLENT haircut which made me appear 10 years younger. This is certainly not a salon that pressures you into having unnecessary work. Can't believe that Borja would allow someone to walk away unhappy and not offer to do something about it. I am certainly a committed client.

Terrible!. This woman knows NOTHING about ethnic hair. She completely burned my hair and I looked like a rooster when I walked out. She should not have charged me a penny for the terrible highlight job she did. I took a picture of the shade I wanted which could not have made it any easier for her but she didn't even come close! What a mess. I had to go to another salon to fix it. Paid $80 to color it over on top of the $260 she charged for the botch job. Don't be fooled by salons in the city. They don't necessarily do a better job. I just found a GREAT color salon in the Bronx with reasonable prices that did a great on my hair.

Best Salon in New York.
Fantastic from start to finish! She did a quick assessment of my hair and described, step-by-step, what she had in mind. I gave her free reign to cut my hair as she pleased. She kept with a more conservative cut, only trimming a few inches, and fixing my layers, but it made a huge difference! Also, my color was to die for!
They were very friendly and professional. I was constantly offered something to drink or a magazine to read .
While I was there I saw several men get their haircut and most seemed like regulars... which I'm inferring means that they love getting their hair cut there as well.
With out a doubt, best Salon in the big apple. Run, don't walk to this place!!
