Best Salon in New York. Fantastic from start to finish! She did a quick assessment of my hair and described, step-by-step, what she had in mind. I gave her free reign to cut my hair as she pleased. She kept with a more conservative cut, only trimming a few inches, and fixing my layers, but it made a huge difference! Also, my color was to die for!

They were very friendly and professional. I was constantly offered something to drink or a magazine to read .

While I was there I saw several men get their haircut and most seemed like regulars... which I'm inferring means that they love getting their hair cut there as well.

With out a doubt, best Salon in the big apple. Run, don't walk to this place!!

Been Going for Years. I have been going to Borja for years after a good friend recommended her studio. She and her staff are all fantastic and accommodating. My hair looks totally natural and wonderful for weeks after a visit. It is always a pleasure to go in , read great magazines, and be pampered by experts. On a personal note, at one time I was going in for serious surgery and they even gave me touch up materials that I could use myself and offered to come over if necessary (I live close by). I will never forget that kindness. Go for the expert and wonderful experience which you will be certain to receive!

ABSOLUTE EXPERT. From the moment you walk in, until you leave you are pampered. Beatrice gives you a shampoo that feels like a mini massage, helps to destress., to all the extras she does for you. Then there is Danka who pampers you with a delicious wine or an earl grey tea. Borja is the complete professional, it is a wonderful feeling to have a person that knowledgeable doing your hair color and or highlights. She is absolute tops in the field. The service is individual and accommodating. To bad they don't have massages!

best color anywhere. Borja makes my color look natural, I feel wonderful and know that my hair color is right on target. When I look at the people around me in the salon, each has a look just right for her. For color, cut and style, Borja and her team are the best.

Best Colorist in Manhattan. I spent years enduring the snooty attitude and inconvenient appointment times of the major salons until I found Borja and Danka 15 years ago. This salon is simply The Best. It is small, unpretentious and dedicated to accommodating the client. Borja and her team work well into the evening in order to fit their clients' busy schedules. The staff is warm and very friendly.

Most importantly, Borja is an expert at creating the best hair color for each individual. She is a master at repairing the damage caused by other less skilled colorists. There is no one better.

I have made it a priority to schedule all of my out of town trips around my visits to Borja. I would not let anyone else touch my color.

A great discovery. Borja and Danka are artists! I discovered this salon a year ago and have been coming back for color, highlights, cuts and styling ever since. I always leave happy. The salon is light, airy and comfortable and the staff is welcoming and friendly. I would recommend Borja Color Studio Salon to anyone!

Brilliant Brazilian Keratin Treatment. My hair already has the perfect golden hue thanks to Borja's magic wand and highlights...and NOW my locks have been transformed to sleek, shiny, care-free goodness thanks to Danka and her Brazilian Keratin Treatment. My hair looks like I spent the usual hour getting ready this morning, except it took only 10 minutes. Actually, it looks better than anything I could achieve on my own, regardless of time, and the best flat iron out there. It is a humid, rainy, hot day today and and my hair is sleek, very shiny and smooth as silk.

Danka is precise down to each strand...the patience and perfection with which she works ensures the absolute best.

Feel like a princess!. I was sixteen years old when I went to Borja Color Studio for the first time to get my hair done and I remember feeling like a true princess. Getting pampered by her outstandingly friendly and caring staff and having my hair done by New York City´s best colorist herself in this elegant environment-I was amazed! Now, twelve years later, I still get the exact same feeling every time I go there...Borja´s unique coloring technique and her amonia-free colors combined with her expertise of many years do true miracles to your hair. It takes half the time and leaves you at least twice as beautiful! Plus-if you ask her to do something to your hair that probably won´t look good, she will tell you right away instead of just doing it and taking your money for something that won´t make you happy. You know why? Because she truly cares about you and the way you look! I´ve been to many different salons all over the world when I was away from New York and I was always disappointed because nobody was ever able to do highlights like the one´s you get at Borja Color Studio. You want to feel like a princess? There is only one place to go to. And they´ll make sure you look like one, too.

Best Hair Studio!. Everyone in the salon is amazing and so friendly. They do a FABULOUS job with highlights, and keratin treatment. I have been going to them for about three years and every time I have been there I get exactly what I want! I HIGHLY recommend Borja Color Studio Salon.

Borja transformed my long brassy-orange-brown-highlighted hair into the perfect latte brown hair with golden honey highlights...gorgeous!

Borja is a bonafide expert, using a technique I have never seen before, she paints your hair with the most natural highlights, and does so with the ease and elegance of a true pro. No foils! No smelly products! NO harm to my hair....and half the time. (Borja's hair is the prettiest blonde I have seen)

I felt truly pampered, as her team worked seamlessly to assist her.
