east side gem of a salon. Concept Salon is sure to provide you with a wonderful relaxing experience. I have been using Helio for 20 years and would never consider going to a different salon. All the stylists are experienced and inspired.

Try the salon once and you too will never go anywhere else. Your hair will look terrific and you will feel geat.

Home away from Home. It is always a pleasure when I go to Concept salon. I have been going to Concept salon for over 15 years. The ambience is always great. The people working at Concept salon are extremely friendly and they cater to all your needs. Andrea is my hairstylist and he is amazing!!!! He keeps up to date with all the current styles and uses the best products. Before he does anything to my hair, he examines it and determines what needs to be done. He then discusses what he believes would be best for me. We come to an agreement and then I sit and he does magic!!! Andrea is truly dedicated to his clients. I had an important event to go to and they canceled his flight the night before my event. He found a way to get back to NYC for the time of my scheduled appointment so that my hair would look amazing for that evening. My hair looked amazing! I was the talk of the evening thanks to Andrea!!! Andrea's grand gesture proofed to me that he really values me as a client and that he truly wants me to look my best. What hairstylist does that!!! Besides his expertise on hair, he also advises me on everything else! Andrea is not just a hairstylist, he is also an awesome friend!!!! I love you Andrea!!! Muah!!!!! Highly recommend Concept salon.

great salon. always a positive experience

I have been going to the salon for over a decade. Andrea and Helio and all the stylists are warm and friendly and make you feel like family. My hair always looks wonderful and I have everyone at the salon to thank.

Always leave feeling beautiful. I have been going to Helio at Concept Salon for almost 5 years now. I am always pleased with my cut and color and walk out of the salon feeling beautiful. Helio has taken me from a red (orange head) to a beautiful blonde. I always get compliments on my cut and color. The staff at Concept are super nice and professional. I highly recommend Concept salon for anyone who takes their hair care seriously.

Do you have short hair?. I walked in without a recommendation and was taken immediately by Patty. She spent time talking to me about what I wanted and played with my hair before making her suggestions. The haircut she gave me was one of the best I've had and I have had some excellent ones. My hair grew in perfectly and when I just returned for another haircut, she suggested something more current. I will be returning

Helio De Souza is an artist with passion. I have been a devotee to this Salon for ten+ years. I am very particular with whom I trust my hair with - what I consider an asset - and Helio De Souza is who I trust 100% for he is an artist with passion in his work and he is honest. Sisa who is the lady who get's you in for your appointment has been there for as long as I have been going to Concept Salon (formerly Helio De Souza Salon) and to have someone as valuable as she is for that many years, plus the years prior to my being a devotee, is a statement in itself on the Management. The product for hair color is Goldwell - an amazing product and not one that is easy to find - even in NYC.

5 star recommendation. I have been going to Concept Salon for almost 20 years. Andreas has taken me through short hair to long hair without my hardly knowing it. He is a master at color. The salon is always friendly. Staff-lovely. Cannot recommend it more highly.

FRIENDLY AND TALENTED PLACE.. Such a fab place! I have been going to Concept Salon for quite a few years. It is definitely one of NYC's best kept secrets. I love my cut and color. Andrea is Great! The place is stark and the staff is friendly and unassuming while being very skilled and creative.

upper east side secret. A friend introduced me to andrea about 15 years ago and i have never looked back. Andrea and the other stylists all do the cut, color and styling for each of their clients so you get the personal attention for the complete look. It is a welcoming salon unlike many other salons where you are greeted with attitude. There is a reason that many of the customers know each other. We have all been coming here for years. People have taken pictures of my hair color with hopes of having their colorist replicate it. They never can.
