NYC's BEST HAIR SALON FOR BALAYAGE HIGHLIGHTS!. I recently was referred by a great friend to Roy TeeLuck Salon on 57st to get some balayage highlights. I was very nervous about going as I had not gotten highlights done in over 10 years! I had some bad experiences and refused to get anymore work done on my hair. My friend GiGi who has been going there for some time strongly recommended that I take a chance and go see her Colorist Abby. I am very happy that I listened to her! Abby, was superb. She is very personable and welcomed me with a smile. I showed her pictures and she was very upfront on what she liked and disliked for my new look. She wasn't afraid to say the truth. Honesty goes a long way! I was there for about 3 hours and the staff was pleasurable and hospitable. I even had to bring my 6year old daughter who even had a blast watching mommy get colored, cut and pampered. Abby recommended that I get a haircut first as I desperately needed one, prior to the highlights. Diego was the stylist she recommended. He was a master with the scissors. He knew the look that I was going for and commanded the floor. The end result was a masterpiece and I have since told all my friends about my experience at Roy TeeLuck. Its definitely worth the time and money!…

It's rare that I give carte blache to a stylist when cutting my hair and am completely satisified with the results. But I'm happy to say that my experience at Roy Teeluck was one of these rare
occasions.
After a strong recommendation from a friend, I went in search of Diego Miranda to help give me a cutting edge but easily manageable cut for my hair. The results far exceeded my expectations. He is a true artist, attentive and skillful. The next time I do anything with my hair, I'm going to Diego.

I LOVE SHAB AT Roy Teeluck!!!!. I am from Ohio, and was in NYC for a wedding on April 21, 2012. I just had broken my right hand (my dominant hand), and had a cast on it. Consequentely, I could not style my own hair for this occasion. I got on Google to find a salon close to our hotel, and saw Roy's and after reading the reviews, and checking out the background of the salon...this looked like the one for me! I have very thick, course hair. I also have very curly, frizzy hair only on the back of my head, a result of radiation. When I get my hair styled, all most stylists can do is straighten that area...not much "WOW" But, Shab, my stylist said she can do a lot with my hair!! So, I let her go to work, and do her magic. When she was done, it looked awesome!! I almost cried in front of her, out of sheer joy and excitement! She took her time, and did a fabulous job! I felt so chic and glamorous at the wedding, and received many, many compliments on my new "mid-town do". I will return to Roy Teeluck's whenever I am in the City and make my appointment ahead to get in with ..... you guessed it! Shab!! She is a gem!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you! i have been going to a salon downtown for many years, until my friend mentioned Lisa @ roy teeluck.
My co worker came in to work two weeks ago and her hair looked the best i have ever seen it look. She told me, "you have to goto Lisa, she is great" although it was hard to get out of my comfort zone, I gave it a try, and i must say Lisa is a fantastic colorist.
They use a different method which i have never seen or had before, and to be honest i don't think i can ever go back to foils again. My hair never looked so natural and healthy. From the color to the blow out, they did a great job, i was very pleased with everyone, and will be going back in a few weeks...…
