Extremely grateful...

We were extremely grateful to the Fox Agency for responding to our unexpected need for a baby nurse. After a surprise C section last week we found ourselves alone and in desperate need. They responded quickly and refered two nurses for us to interview while we were still in the hospital. We liked them both but ffelt more comfortable with Tessie. She had been with Fox for about twelve yearsand the three references we checcked raved about her. She came back to the hospital to help us home with the baby. she put together a list of supplieswe would need, helped us get settled, and put us both at ease. I"m not sure how we would have survived without her. She is an absolute angel

Scary and sad experience

This agency never returns urgent phone calls. They sent us a candidate that was unacceptable and untrained. She stole from us upon leaving. I would be very cautious in working with this agency. Their reputation from years back has definitely gone down. I am quite concerned for other mothers out there to work with this suspect group. In fact I am still waiting for a call back from them to discuss the disgraceful situation in which their candidate endangered my child. I don't think they are properly screening their candidates and people are at risk of being scammed. These candidates are not "nurses" as they claim they are. They have no nursing credentials and have not pursued any nursing courses or have hospital experiences. Our "nurse" as they call it was from the Caribbean and was rude and abusive. They Fox Agency did nothing to take care of us or call us back. They are a disgrace to families and I worry for those that trust them. They are nice to solicit your business in the beginning, but if there is a problem, they do nothing to help you. NOT RECOMMENDED.

Avoid unless desperate - probably losing clientelle precipitously

We have worked with Fox over the years. Originally, several years ago, they helped in providing very high quality references for a nanny position. All of the people that they sent were very well qualified and very specific to what we needed.

However, i believe that ownership and/or day to day management has changed. When we looked for help again this fall to add a weekend nanny, we had a very different experience. they sent us candidates that they had only just met, were not suited to our role, and the agency was also totally unresponsive in trying to help us find someone after the first two candidates decided that they were not right for a weekend position.

I am totally disappointed and will no longer be using Fox. Its a shame, they were marvelous four years ago.
