Horrible Service. I have been to Arte Cafe 3 times for brunch. First, a year ago, great experience (great service, yummy food), Second, 2 weeks ago, omelette tasted soapy and service was slow, Third: UNBELIEVABLY AWFUL: I have never written a negative review before, but felt I had to pass on this story. A waiter accidentally spilled scalding hot tea water down my guest's back. Unfortunate, but accidental. Perhaps not the most skilled waiter I'v ever seen, but he was very apologetic and reacted quickly with ice and napkins. The manager's reaction, however, was ABHORRENT: No sincere apology, brushed us off, acted like it was no big deal (my friend had 2ND DEGREE BURNS!), did not offer to call for medical help, and did not even comp her meal or drink: INFURIATING. The food was also very mediocre. I will NEVER be back. The place is clearly going downhill. There are plenty of other delightful restaurants in the area, I suggest you chose one of them instead.

Avoid. The ood is just OK, but the service is terrible. There are rodents running in the outside sitting area. Do yourself favor and dine elsewhere.

Just awful, beyond awful..
Absolutely the worst restaurant experience I've had in years. We waiting 40 minutes for 3 side salads, were never asked for drink refills, never given bread, or fresh ground pepper. The matradee was beyond a snob and couldn't be bothered with our table. $100 later for a so so meal we left angry. Don't waste your time, there are so many fantastic places to go in this city.
Its really a shame since we use to come here all the time. New owners I guess....

Don't Bother.
I am not the usual guy who writes reviews.. but BUYER BEWARE!!! I found a piece of metal in my food! There are too many places in the city to settle for this one. Waiter was pretentious, other at my table had mixed reviews on their meal. They offer a unlimited drink special... sounds like a lst resort... don't bother wit this place.
oh and PS- the bathrooms were out of hand towels... so how does the staff dry their hands?!?!?! hello nasty!

Never Again!!! Asked to Leave?. I went to this place with a few friends and after we ordered, our food came out not more than 5 minutes later. The food (Eggs Benedict) was just ok. We then paid the check and a few of my friends went to the rest room and we were sitting chatting for a few minutes and the waiter came over to us and asked "if we were leaving soon because they had a lot of people to serve and we had already paid our bill." Between the time we sat down and the time the waiter asked us to leave was no more than 40 minutes. I have never in my life been asked to leave a restaurant nor had anyone else at the table. Absolutely unacceptable and will never consider going back.

HORRIBLE service and cleanliness. I wanted to try Arte Cafe because of the great drink/brunch deal. Immediately after placing our drink order the largest raoch (they won't let me write r*ach) i have ever seen was crawling on the wall next to us. We politely told the waitress not to cause a stir. The manager came, called it a waterbug, and ignored us. HORRIBLE place to go.

Service is HORRIBLE...manager apathetic and rude.. The service was atrocious. We were seated in the back of the restaurant, and there was only one waiter servicing the entire room. He rushed us through our ordering. He hardly visited the table. We spoke to the manager three times and he was very rude and did not care about the situation. Several tables around us were also fed up with the service and were gettting up to grab their own condiments. I did that as well. The servers were very rude when we asked for help. We received "what else!" and "that's not my job, tell your waiter." very very very rude staff. I used to frequent this restuarant...but I will NEVER go back

Pricey. Good food, great service, kind of pricey. The wait staff and the wall hangings made me feel like I was in Ireland. Very busy on the night we decided to go. The Mousse Di Cioccolato was just ok....I'll probably not order it again. The wait staff made it sound like their specialty!

Beautiful Garden. Arte Cafe is one of my new favorite places... I agree that some of the staff can be a little rude (hostesses...will tell you the garden is full when it isnt)... but if you can look past that, the food is great and the atmosphere is fantastic. The space is huge so it doesnt get too too bad for brunch...and if you get a cool server then the all you can drink brunch is a deal (if not, you'll end up with one drink for $12...which still isnt that bad).

WHY IS THIS PLACE STILL IN BUSINESS ???.
Sloppy, Slapdash, tired, terrible.
Food: A Million Better Places That Serve The Same and MUCH better.
Service: People Arguing in Spanish on the floor while they ignore your table
Ambiance: Thrown together and cheap
Read most of the positive reviews carefully, it's obvious that they are SHILLS.
Nothing "ARTE" about it.
YUCK.
