Excellent Service and Amazing Food.
This is The Best Japanesse Restaurant in New York City I've Ever Had....I like the Fresh Sushi, I Like the atmosphere & They have Excellent waitstaff, They are so friendly and nice...and Good Manner..
Our Family like to come there especially my wife....And right now I can't stand to go there again and I'm so sad that we are leaving in Texas....

MATSU. My new favorite restaurant. I've tried many in the neighborhood, but this is the winner. Excellent food, good service, very friendly wait staff. Small and cozy, very fair prices. You won't be disappointed.

Best Sushi on the UWS. This is a great find for sushi. It's a hole in the wall with excellent service. Far and away the best place for sushi we have been to on the UWS. Great prices, fresh food, friendly service. Give it a try.

Best undiscovered Japanese Restaurant Gem in NYC. I'm almost hesitant to write this, because we like this little gem of a restaurant so much that we want to keep it to ourselves! However, sometimes Matsu seems a little more empty than it should be, and our fear of seeing it disappear outweighs our desire to keep eating here in near privacy! Great food, great prices - especially when compared to other Japanese restaurants, and a nice warm atmosphere great for bringing a date. And usually no problem getting a table. Gonna stop writing now and digest another fully satisfying meal there...
