Great place!. I love this place. The staff is crazy!! I recently went there with a couple of girlfriends, and the chef came out and tried to forcefeed us wine! Of course, we weren't that opposed to the idea...

However, this chef was also a bit cheese crazy....

Then, he sang happy birthday to us, even though it was nobody's birthday...when we told him he had made a mistake, he yelled at the waiter.

The overall atmosphere was very cozy however...

The Best Pizza in New York City. If you're like me, and good food is important to you, there is only one place to enjoy excellent Italian food at reasonable prices, and that's Francesco Pizzeria. From my apartment, I actually have to pass three (3) pizza places before arriving at Francesco's. I've tried them all, but none of them compare to Francesco's Pizzeria. Francesco restaurant is not only a Great Pizza Place, but All of the food at Francesco Pizzeria is Delicious. I first walked into the Francesco Pizzeria approx. 5 years ago, thinking it was just another typical Pizzeria. I was wrong. For the past 5-years, I've been eating at Francesco Pizzeria an average of 3-4 times each week. The owner of Francesco Pizzeria, Vito, uses the finest ingredients, and you can really taste the difference. I've been to the best Italian restaurants in New York and I can tell you that nobody has better food than Francesco. The Lasagna, the Eggplant Parmigiana, and the Rigatoni Ripieni are all excellent. Best Pizza in the City. I love Francesco's Pizza. I grew up on the Upper West Side and have been coming here since I was a little kid. I've even had the chance to spot a couple celebs here eating which was pretty cool. The Pizza is amazing, love the crust. They also have a full menu of traditional Italian food that is also really good. I normally get the chicken parm and chicken picatta.

Definally best pizza in town.......... I always stop by when I'm in the city for work to get a slice,always fresh and with that real taste of olive oil,definally worth a try,and the penne with broccoli rabe & sausage OMG....And unlike many other place that I have been at this pizza joint everybody is really frendly at anytimeof the day or night. Excellent after a night at the club they're open late and thats great.

Italy on the westside!!!. I have been living on the westside for 15 years and have seen restaurants come and go.Francesco isa true eating experiance! not only is the food exceptional the owner (vito) makes you feel like your home !!!with is charming personality and great stories you feel like family when dining there! and i will say twice the food is truly exceptional!! being in the sports and entertainment biz i often bring my celeberty clients to dine,I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS AWSOME RESTAURANT!! Best Pizza in NYC. If you're looking for a little bit of Italy mixed with NYC late-night food cravings, then Francesco's is for you. But don't wait until the wee hours of the morning to try the BEST PIZZA IN NYC! Their famous olive oil crust combined with home-made dough and fresh tomatoes, makes this pizza a winner. Come hungry and try the risotto, which is quite rich but worth every calorie. For lighter fare, opt for a chef's salad, which doesn't have any meat (like a traditional chef salad) rather it is all salad with mozzarella cheese and a delicious Italian dressing. I like to add a piece of grilled tuna, which they will gladly do for you. They also serve wonderful full entrees including meat, veal, chicken and fish dishes. My favorite is the grilled salmon with spinach and capers. Last, but certainly not least, the owner is from Sicily and is quite handsome and charming and is generally clad with the latest Prada footwear. Magnifico! Ciao!

Best Delivery on the UWS!. I am a faithful client of Francesco's Pizzeria on the UWS. They have the best pizza and my kids love the pasta! We order every week!!!!

Best Pizza!!!. My family and I recently took our annual trip to NYC from Dallas, TX. Along with seeing the normal tourist spots we were in search of great authentic Italian food and of course the BEST pizza! My family and I were delighted to discover Francesco's on Columbus Ave! I loved the pizza and my parents enjoyed the veal.

Not only was the food great but the owner was so kind! He sat with us while we waited to be served our meal! We felt so at home!

We are will be back on our next trip into town! Thank you Francesco!

Best pizza anywhere, Great customer service. The only Pizzeria that uses fresh dough in the upper west side.

The pasta is unbelievable.
