In Short
Housing Works is a nonprofit community agency dedicated to providing housing, health care, job training and other support services to people living with AIDS. The stores receive new donations every day, so it's always worth going back if nothing catches your eye the first time around. Finds have included framed Fortune Magazine covers from the 1930s, a round glass table set atop a bronze base and a set of four blue-and-red striped juice glasses.

I guess the best thing I ever got at this store was a stack of home made CDs for twenty five cents each. They all played well and whomever had made them had copied the cover art and everything making them a fun really cheap addition to my collection. I also purchased a table that was fairly priced and that has held up well. They get some really nice furniture pieces so if you are redecorating and need some furniture this could be a good source.

These guys have some of the best furniture i have ever seen at a thrift store. It usually isnt cheap, but it is almost always a good value. They have stuff that you will not find anywhere else, and at prices that are awesome. Alot of this stuff could sell for 5 times the price, if not more, in some silly soho consigmnent shop

This thrift shop is not your basic thrift shop. Their furniture selection is top of the line and often not all that cheap, but hey, we're talking high-quality. Furthermore, it goes to a great cause: Housing Works Inc, a non-profit serving homeless people with AIDS.
