Over the past six months we have worked with Marcy and the wonderful Crosstown staff and artisans on three significant projects. The choice of fabrics for the upholstering projects was excellent. On the blinds and furniture related projects Crosstown’s artisans and installers were creative and their execution was excellent. We highly recommend Crosstown and will be working with them on future projects

Marcy and the entire Crosstown team have been a family owned company for years. They take pride in their business and give expert service. Their measurers and installers are efficient and on time. The Hunter Douglas line is superb and so is CROSSTOWN!

Thoroughly Satisfied. We love the window treatments! They really enhance the look and feel of the rooms. Marcy and the "team" at Crosstown did an amazing job of guiding us through the process and helped make it a very pleasant and smooth experience. Marcy provided color, style, and fabric suggestions with her professional expertise. Every step of the way, Crosstown saw to it that every aspect was taken care of appropriately, whether it was when Jeff came to carefully measure and survey the rooms and offered additional ideas or when James came to meticulously do the installation. Thank you Marcy and Crosstown for making this a very positive experience for us.

Run a Mile!. Citysearchers please note: this is a real review from an actual customer. I ordered a very expensive window shade in linen beige. It arrived in a disgusting greenish color. Crosstown utterly refused to acknowledge any problem. Their only "remedy" was to try to get me to order a replacement in a color I did not want, for more money. Their product was unacceptable and their attitude was worse. I would steer well clear of this place.

Fantastic Find!!!!. I recently had the most pleasant and positive experience with a firm that I wanted to share. When I received their proposal with their mission statement that read "From inception to completion your satisfaction is our goal", I wondered if this really could be true. I have had so many unpleasant experiences with people doing work in my home that I was skeptical. But it was true. The first step was laying out the project in the showroom by picking fabrics and styles of treatments. Then someone came to my home to measure and further advise. Then the installer came to put it all in. Then they called to follow up to see how I liked everything. When I told them that one of the shades wasn't the perfect color, they exchanged it for me! This company has a staff that from beginning to end has knowledge of product, expert measuring, meticulous installation (the installer wore booties and gloves!) and superior follow up. I could not be happier! I have recommended them to family and friends and everyone I talk to has had the same experience. Forget the box stores! Shop local with this family owned business and you"ll be happy you did!

Great Experience. My wife and I have purchased 6 window treatments from Marcy and Jeff and have had a very pleasurable experience. They have a great selection, very reasonable prices and their installers are skilled and courteous. We have worked with many of their competitors on the UWS and Crosstown is truely in a class by itself. Definitely give them a shot.

My husband, daughter and I just moved into a rental. I worked with Nancy, who was very helpful with regards to chosing a reasonably priced shade that had the look and feel we wanted and let in just the right amount of light according to the illumination and privacy needs of each windown/room. We moved during the summer and there was a lot of light streaming into our living room windows that really heated up that spot. I asked about black, yes, black sheer shades which stops the heat from entering the space and allows one to see out at the same time. My family was against it. One of the owners, Jeff, said that if we installed it and didn't like it, he would tell us about a replacement plan that would be a lot less expensive than replacing it full price. When Jeff came over to measure, he said he thought the shades would work well for those windows and encouraged us to get them.

It was his advice and sharp eye that pushed this choice through. Lester the person who installed the shades did a wonderful job. There was a level of professionalism at every level with this company. I feel so happy that we chose this firm to guide us through the choosing, measuring, ordering and installing. Shades are my least favorite thing when it comes to decorating and they made it all so easy. You will have to wait a few weeks for your shades to come, but they are custom so that should be expected. Once they are up, you will be very happy with this outfit. They are a class act.

Crosstown Custom Make You Happy. I'm one of those annoying customers that likes to ask a lot of questions and be on top of things to have them my way, they were very accommodating and helpful. They get an A++ from me, happy all around. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants good quality window treatments... you won't be disappointed!

Outstanding customer service. I have been a customer for over 15 years and have found Crosstown Shade and Glass to be completely helpful, professional and reliable. When a manufacturer shipped us damaged goods, they became our advocate and secured full replacements for no additional cost. It's a terrific store and I recommend them highly.

Great blinds and shades. We have been a customer of Crosstown Shade and Glass for many years using them for all of our window treatments including shades, blinds and curtains. They have also done our shower doors mirrors and 2 glass table tops. They are extremely professional and have worked with us from design to installation. The quality of their work has been excellent and they have always delivered on time. They were very helpful in color selection of shades and understanding how the light would change the look. Even if I came in with a crazy idea they were able to figure a way in which to make it work. Their installers are friendly, clean and neat and always on time.
