This yarn store is great.. This yarn store is great. The have fantastic yarns. Yes, they can be expensive but sometimes you have to pay for quality. I find the staff to be very helpful and they will write patterns for you rather than directing you to a book to find the pattern. And they know their books to so they may help you find the pattern in a book too. Sometimes it can be crowded but maybe that is a sign there is something worth the wait.

wonderful store with helpful staff. I have been a customer here for several years and have always found it to be a wonderful store with helpful staff and a fantastic selection of yarns. The staff always helps me find appropriate yarn if I come with a pattern in mind, and if not - they have oodles of sample garments hanging that are always an inspiration. I have made many projects with their yarn and patterns that have been written for me by them - and they have all been successful! And whenever I have hit a glitch - I just come in, sit down and they help me figure out what is wrong or how to do a new stitch. Granted, there are often people sitting around the table chatting and knitting and it may feel a bit cliquey when you walk in - but all you have to do to join the clique is sit down and all of the sudden you are part of any conversation that is going on and people are commenting on how great whatever you are knitting is. It is a fun, welcoming store with staff that really knows their stuff.
