Neither Sam nor Chris exists anymore - the reviews are for people who don't work there any longer. I received an aweful haircut twice ( I went back to give it another shot and the second time was even worse and quite frankly you can't do much wrong with my hair) dirty sinks + equipments, saw a roach crawling in the filthy bathroom. Not worth it.

Sam is the best. The best hair salon on the upper west side!!! Sam is always friendly and nice, and he does a good job.

Great haircut. Had my hair cut there a few weeks ago. It felt like the Amazing Zohan was cutting my hair -it took exactly 30 minutes from the time I walked in the salon to when I walked out. There was absolutely no delay (everyone that came in got same fast treatment) and Sam was super efficient. He even busted out two hairdryers at once and did some fancy cowboy moves with them. It was pretty insane. A great haircut, really comfortable atmosphere.

personalized cut and color - with charm. Sam has great flare for making every women feel beautiful and exciting. AND - you get an incredible cut/color that matches YOU, at a very affordable price.

great nyc haircuts for non-nyc prices!!. ask for chris - he's great!! just be warned that when you get highlights he tends to go very blonde - so emphasize that you want something minimal if you do. it can be shocking at first but in a few days it does fade to a less shocking tone and looks lovely.
