Best vet clinic we've ever encountered.. Riverside Animal Hospital is the best vet facility we have ever encountered. Dr. K has constantly gone FAR out of his way to help us deal with our beloved Wiggy, and continues to do so for our sweet Lucy. The entire staff at Riverside is wonderful. Their kindness, professionalism, and enthusiasm are amazing. We were lucky to have discovered them through recommendations from several friends. Now we're happy when we get a chance to recommend Riverside to others. It is unbelievable to me that a major news source like the Post can get away with damaging the reputation of such a wonderful clinic. I truly hope that NYP is made to make restitution for their unforgivable negligence.

The best for your furry family!. Our precious cats have been fortunate to be in the care of the Riverside Vet Group/Ansonia Vet. Hospital on W. 79th, an affiliate of the Riverside Animal Hospital on W. 108th St. We were appalled to hear about the recent irresponsible and devastating article by the New York Post attributing a tragic malpractice at a similarly-named but totally unrelated clinic in Washington Heights, to the Riverside practice on W. 108th. The craven journalism of Rupert Murdock comes closer to home! Because the 108th and 79th facilities share some of the medical staff, I want animal lovers to know about the quality of care given M and Q (names from James Bond!) over their many years. Dr. Freedman and the staff at 79th street have been absolutely fantastic in their professional care and their level of personal concern. As senior citizens, M and Q

Riverside Animal Hospital - 250 W. 108th Street. They are simply the best!!! I have taken my animals for both routine and NOT so routine visits and the quality of care and concern is always the same -WONDERFUL. EVERYONE gives 110 percent. If you are looking for great medical expertise and really great people in all areas, Riverside Animal Hospital is the place for you and your pet. I wouldn't go anywhere but to Riverside>>>

A first-rate veterinary practice. Riverside cared for my cat Samantha compassionately and competently during the last two years of her life. They gave my cat Patch a healthy start in his when I brought him in as a scruffy homeless kitten. I would recommend Riverside Animal Hospital to anyone looking for quality care for their pets.

very caring vet. I took my cat to Riverside Animal Hospital for a number of years while she was being treated for CRF (chronic renal failure). When she finally succumbed to her illness (after many good years of managing the disease, thanks undoubtedly to Riverside), I chose not to take her in, but to have someone come to my apt. to euthanize her at home in order to minimize stress. When the hospital couldn't accommodate this, the staff was able to recommend someone else (unaffiliated) instead with whom they had previously worked--which was immensely helpful. I also received compassionate follow-up phone calls both while she was ailing and after she was gone. Frequency of treatment and associated costs are an understandable concern, and treatment wasn't cheap; but ultimately this has to be your decision--I don't for a minute though believe anyone there is in it for the money. They care!

Great Vet Practice. My two dogs have been patients at Riverside Vet Group and Riverside Animal Hospital for years. I can honestly say that I have never met a more caring, professional and talented group of vets/techs/staff. They provide loving, gentle care for my dogs and have always provided different alternatives for treatment - explaining each quite thoroughly. I have never felt rushed or hurried thru an appointment - and I've been there alot lately! They have great follow-up - always checking in the day after a visit to ensure that the dogs are doing well and that I don't have any questions or concerns. I've tried other vets in NYC; but I would never leave this practice - they are by far the very best around.

Highly Recommended Veterinarians. The Post recently printed a libelous article about Riverside Animal Hospital on W 108th St, confusing it with another similarly-named veterinarian located in Washington Heights. I've been taking my senior kitty, who has several chronic conditions, to Dr K and Dr Drayton at Riverside Animal Hospital for over 5 years now. She has always received expert loving care and is thriving, in no small part due to Drs K and Drayton. The entire staff is excellent. Highly recommended.

Dr. K is the BEST vet!. I have been going to Riverside Animal Hospital for the past 12 yrs since I got my first Shih Tzu puppy! Dr. K (Steven Kasanofsky) has always been gentle, understanding and honest with me about treatments for my dogs, especially when Lilu was diagnosed with kidney disease. I truly believe she wouldn't be happy, healthy and alive today if it weren't for his superior treatment of her. Needless to say, I also took my other two furbabies to see him as well.

As other people have made comments about the reception people, sometimes not all of them are my favorite, but the bottom line is with the care the VET gives your animal. He is thorough, gentle, honest and that's all that matters when your furbaby is not well.
