I've ordered take-out from Calcutta Cafe a number of times, and I am consistently amazed, yes - amazed, by how delicious, fresh, and tasty everything is. We love the chana saag and chicken tikka masala, but everything we've tried has been fabulous. Indus Valley is also great Indian in the neighborhood - but it is extremely over-priced. Calcutta Cafe is just as good, and is much, much less expensive. I highly recommend Calcutta Cafe.

This Indian place is a **great** find. Very good deal. The service is very attentive, the food is fresh, authentic, and savory, and they give you a ton of food with each order--- free dal, cabbage, chutneys, and rice for most orders. (Some dishes don't require rice). There are so many Indian places in this town that are not fresh, and charge for every last grain of rice (grrr). I would recommend the chicken tikka masala, chana sag, and other veggie dishes. Their raita is also very good. I have never had a problem with delivery. Usually, it arrives before they estimate. I ALWAYS have leftovers. soo good.

My favorite place for Indian food in a neighborhood with plenty of options. The meat is of decent quality, the sauces are exceptional, and the prices are reasonable. Service is unfailingly attentive and polite. PROS: Great food and service CONS: None
