Editorial Review for Mill Korean Restaurant – by Julia Israel

In Short
Inside this longstanding Morningside Height's restaurant, sizzling portions of Korean fare arrive at tables in cast-iron pots. The atmosphere is casual: Diners share entrees amidst the restaurant's simple, quiet decor of dark wooden tables and sparse walls. The menu offers many choices, with dishes falling into stir fry, rice, casserole, noodles and soup categories. Korean barbecue favorites, like the restaurant's popular bulgogi (beef marinated in a house sauce), round out the sweet and spicy offerings.

Or maybe the only Korean out of K-Town in Manhattan... Has all the essentials: bibimbop, bbq, and plenty of kimchee.

Been here as an undergrad at Columbia and back here again even after over ten years later. I do still enjoy this place. Price is affordable comparing to those around Korea town. Food is consistently good. My servers are always nice and helpful -- could be my luck but always been treated very well. Definitely, I think you get what you pay for.

Pros: quick, easy, cute, good services, affordable

Cons: tight space
