“We will most certainly return to try other enticing menu options.”
“However, until this Saturday noon I had never experienced such rude service at a restaurant.”
“delicious food, good prices, SEINFELD”
“the service is rude, but very quick.”

Don't go here for low prices or consistently fabulous food (you won't find either), but do go to relive the Seinfeld years of your youth. (The food is actually decent, too.)
Tasty food.. I went to Tom's one morning just to try what it felt like to eat breakfast alone in a public place. Well, the food was very tasty. I saw a lot of people eating at Tom's, all at different ages. All of them seemed to be a regular customer at Tom's. I think this place is very convenient. People are comfortable. The waitresses were fine too. I had no problems with them.
Fun diner, great food!. We went to Tom's for breakfast on my boyfriend's birthday, as he is a big Seinfeld fan! I went because I know he wanted to but it was great! The outside only is the Seinfeld bit, they didn't film inside. It was a traditional, comfortable diner. The waitresses looked miserable but they were helpful & polite. The menu was huge - I had corned beef hash, potatoes & eggs easy-over plus coffee with a free re-fill. There seemed to be students & locals of all ages eating & those that didn't finish were taking their doggy bags with them! All in all, we had fun & a tasty breakfast. I would recommend :)
Customer service is more of the "soup" episode on seinfeld than anything!. Visiting and of course had to go to Toms restaurant! There were 4 of us, it was around 3 pm, so lunch was over, not ready for dinner. We ordered 1 ice tea, 2 diet cokes and 1 shake with a piece of pie. Bill was about $20. On the menu it says free refills, when one of the diet cokes was asked to be refilled, the extremely rude old waitress picked up the bill and added $2.50 on it! We asked about the free refills and in her broken accent she said. You no eat, no refill for you! Explained that we did have a piece of pie (which was horrible) She said again, no eat no refill! Needless to say she had us out the door in minutes. Now its just a story about how rude they are!
Tourist attraction. Tom's is a mediocre diner at best and certainly not the top choice for those who live in the neighborhood. There's just nothing special about it other than everyone in the world saw it Seinfeld for 8 or 9 years. In fact if you want some great coffee and unbelievable french toast go half a block up to Deluxe.
Fun Diner. In addition to friendly tolerant staff the food is what you expect from a diner, plus the delight of having Seinfeld paraphernalia around you makes for good conversation.
Great Diner, Love the Seinfeld Gear!. Ok, this Diner is awesome. Not only is the food very tasty and the service is great, they also have a bunch of Seinfeld gear! Totally cool. Check out Tom's!
I love diners and this is a good one.. This is the Seinfeld diner, it is fun and quirky. It's moderately priced and the waitresses are nice... for NYC.
delicious food, good prices, SEINFELD. I went to this famous restaurant with a buddy for fun more than anything else, and it turned out to be reasonably priced, with great service and delicious breakfast food! Not sure about other meals though. Plus Seinfeld memorabilia!
Beware stray ingredients and bad service.
I ordered a chicken feta wrap and it had BACON in it! And when I called the waitress over to verify, she didn't even apologize, even when I explained that I don't eat pork. She said she'd tell the man at the register, but when we went to pay, he only knocked $2 off the entire bill of my friends and my food!
It wasn't like I found an awry piece of cabbage--pork products are a big deal--particularly in NYC.
Rude rude rude.
I frequent this restaurant because I think the food is decent and I live around the area. However, until this Saturday noon I had never experienced such rude service at a restaurant. I was eating with 3 other friends. We finished and within a couple of minutes, the waitress hands us our check and the owner (I later asked the waitress about his role) came to us and said to the effect "Are you guys done yet? Because I have a of people waiting outside. Please hurry up"
We just finished eating!! And the table next to us was empty! I really don't understand the management style there.
